It's because despite all the claims, boasts and lies from the club about the importance of communication with fans in practice unless you know someone behind the scenes the only chance the general fanbase have to discover what is going on is by waiting for occasional forum meetings and then waiting for the minutes released weeks later.

They've done their best to remove all other forms of communication including consultation and shareholder meetings and I'm sure they'd get rid of forum meetings too if they could.

Because what they claim and what they actually do are the opposite. It sounds good to say you value communication. In practice they do the absolute minimum and have the media wrapped around their fingers too.

We had plenty of communication from first team during the week away in Spain, Different videos with players or staff.

The fans forum meetings are about 5 times a years with all topics available unless under John Williams when it just non playing matters discuss.

On how long the minutes take to come it, it would be great if within a week but sometimes these things can't happening for whatever reasons

Rovers hierancy should be sitting down more local media and doing Q and A session a couple times a year.

Fans Forum minutes not published after 3 weeks.

However they have been busy writing their new Fan Engagement Plan, to tick the EFL box.

Absolute drivel but confirms WATR are not involved and the FF will be the only communication.

Thanks for this, seems they are intent on lighting the blue torch paper!!!!

Shame that these minutes have not been released. Given that certain people were there, that don’t normally attend, it’s pretty obvious now that, the minutes written, do not reflect some of the more controversial things that took place.

The whole thing is a total waste of time.

Communication about serious club issues isnt the same as uploading loads of supposedly funny videos showing the players playing pranks on each other.

Did I ever it was but the club is being more open football side of the club

No it isn’t. They’ve had a social media team with their players for years. All good fun, but no different than previous seasons… or anywhere else.

Even by your poor standards this is completely unintelligible.

What are you saying here?

Theyve always done stuff like this. That doesnt come under communication improvements.

As things stand the new FEP suggest everyone can attend the FF going forwards , be that 100, 1000.

In terms of minutes I dont think there is anything now to stop all attendees writing their own or indeed reporting what was said , as its clear no one can be excluded.

Minutes coming out when out of date is not an ideal situation. I believe these are still stuck with the club.

Thanks, Glen.

Obviously I didn’t expect anything else. But how very sad that this is the rabble that swan around wearing the club ties in the name of Blackburn Rovers. Indeed read those minutes from 2009 and weep for what we’ve lost.

I made the point of asking LT after the meeting if id been any of the above

She stated ive always conducted myself professionally and respectfully in all meetings she's attended in 15 years.

I'd also say, the derogatory manner they spoke about those who have left., would need our transfer budget to pay the resulting fees.

In 20 years its the most unprofessional panel of employees ive had the displeasure of sitting with for a couple of hours .
