Get behind the ladz FFS Some of us have been supporting rovers before venkys and have a certain level of expectation of the standards our beloved club should hold and, like many have mentioned, the downgrade of our players, coaching staff, pitch etc makes it very hard to just “get behind the lads” of course we all want rovers to do well but we need an increase in standards that will only come with proper investment and ownership 2 Quote

First team played the u21s in a behind closed doors friendly and lost 7-0....yes 7-0. Ribeiro went over the top on one of the youngsters with a late challenge and ended up gripping the young lad even though it was he who was being a nob. All food in the canteen is now halal and this has not gone down well. None of the current 1st team backline are rated by any of the under 21s or the non first team coaches - especially the new recruits. That sounds like a load of bollocks to me. 4 Quote

Seems highly unlikely that the first team are playing friendlies matches in a week where we have 3 games. They played Tuesday, they will have had Wednesday off. 3 1 Quote

Also, if they are having some halal food (and they will be for Gestede, Kargbo, Gueye amongst others) , it would be cheaper to have all halal food.. economies of scale, and simplifying ordering. One thing this regime loves is cheaper Where I would be surprised is if the general staff (in the main) cared in the slightest. unless they are big on animal rights The UK government doesn't have a legal requirement to ensure all animals are stunned before slaughter. Around 88% of animals slaughtered in the UK for Halal are stunned first. All animals slaughtered under the Shechita (for Kosher) are non-stunned. Edited 12 hours ago by KentExile 2 Quote

Sorry Rev, you are correct Pratt wasn't specifically called out it is more aimed at the recruited players (Miller and McLoughlin especially) who are seen as absolutely shite. 1 Quote
MarkBRFC Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I think Miller has a bit of worth as a right sided centre back in a 3, wouldn't like to see him in a back 4 though. Maybe he would be ok at right back we don't know. McLoughlin for me though is really poor. 1 Quote

I know the first 11 aren’t brilliant but from what I’ve seen of the U-21’s they aren’t any better. Are you sure he didn’t get the score the wrong way around ? An older guy ( Ribeiro ) losing his rag at a younger player doesn’t surprise me. Been there, done that, to my shame. Kids not rating the older players doesn’t surprise me either. There's a team playing football wearing blue and white shirts every week (unless there's rain forecast, obviously). What more do you want? Stop whining and back the ladzz FFS!
