How are his stats fairing in the all time hall of shame? I think when I last checked he was worse than K**n but slightly better than Coyle, but it's getting worse every week.

It says a lot that at the English club he had the most success with, they wouldn't have him back.

We have a poor club with a poor team, but having a poor manager isn't helping at all.

Currently, Ismael's failings are acting as a buffer between Pasha/Rudy and the fanbase. The moment they sack him, the spotlight will fall squarely on them. Also, sacking Ismael means paying out money, and we all know our tight-assed owners will blanch at that.

He's getting effort out of the players but that's it.

Too much emphasis on running and not enough on actual football which is why he likes headless chickens like De Neve, Henriksson etc.

Has a good by mid champ standard left back in Pickering constantly wasted on the bench in favour of the left sided Jason Lowe.  Sometimes you have to alter the team according to the best you have available but he doesn't.

We are back, albeit a different style, to trying to make players fit a system that they don't but he can point to running stats and say yes they do. 

Well 1 win in 11 and yet another game with not one shot on target says NO THEY DON'T.  We know what he's up against with injuries but there is still enough available to do better than that.

Way too much on carrying people like Cantwell also whilst wasting Baradji too deep.

The clock simply has to be ticking on him now.

If and it's obviously a huge IF they were to act it won't be until after the window, never is.

Could well be back in the bottom 3 by then but in this death by a 1000 cuts realm we are in i can see him getting a win v Watford in front of about 6k.

To me i see him and Gestede as a pair and it's no point potting one without the other but that'll be some serious pay off.

I get the distinct impression that the Regime - owners, administrators, Gestede - will be happier with our current situation than they were this time last year.

That's right. Owners, directors, board will be happier staring down the barrel of relegation to League One and playing appalling football, never scoring, never even having an attempt on target, because they are now 'aligned' and have got their man in place delivering on their remit.

Far, far, far better for them than the highly uncomfortable situation of years gone by with annoying irritating non-aligned head coaches like JDT and Eustace raising expectations, having us in contention, raising standards and making demands.

No much better for this lot drifting along and most importantly fan anger can be concentrated on the manager and his results/performances and on the pitch issues rather than their negligent mismanagement upstairs.

Yes a sacking might come in a month or so once we are entrenched in the bottom 3 as a token gesture to keep the heat off the regime when it is too late to attract anyone decent or take action in January to rectify the situation. Then it will be Jonno or similar left to hold the ropes until the summer, knowing full well as a relatively popular bloke the fans won't give him grief.
