Just get the feeling that latest purchases apart from Ohashi don’t fit in VI plans. De Neve signed for a fee when we’ve paid a fee for Kargbo in January. Throw Hedges in the mix that’s 3 for one spot. The latter well liked by the manager. Linked to Watford striker but can’t see it at that price but shows we are looking for a striker, with Fees already spent on Ohashi and Gueye. Think there could be a few shock sales this window

Hedges is going back to the right side of the attack

I think Hedges would work well with Brittain down that channel. Hedges can cut inside or play Callum in for the cross. Plus offers good defensive duties

Only just realised this Neve lad is a 3 year deal.

Where's the sense in a contract of that length for someone who's never played in the championship. Big risk.

Big risk to only give a 2 year deal as well. If he is up to the level you immediately need to start negotiating a new deal, with a significant rise, when the season ends. I think a 4 year deal would have been a risk (that said he may not be on much), but I don't think a 3 year is too much risk.

Kargbo only has 2 years left on his deal without even mentioning an option. That was very strange to give him such a short contract.

the club is just handing out random deals because no one has a ****** clue what they are doing, meanwhile our best 3 players are approaching their last year and nothing is being done about it,we are without doubt the worst run club out of the whole 92

Hedges is awful whichever side he plays on.  Creates next to nothing.  If he's the answer on the right (and he hasn't been in the 3 yrs we've had him) we are fecked.

Agree with you. For a winger you expect them to be able to create chances.Hedges creates little,His best attribute is against the top sides, Personally I think he works well with the fullback, played a big part in our big wins last season. He’s not everyone’s cup of tea but he also makes intelligent runs off the ball which opens space for others. But we do need better quality

Low wages, just the way they like it and less than they'd have to pay Dolan whose compo will pay this fee probably.

Anyone on 10k or over it's a 1 year contract !

If De Neve is decent defensively, and Hedges is also favoured, it means the manager wants wingers who are also good tracking back and helping out the full backs.

Kargbo hasn’t a defensive bone is his body, so there’s no guarantee he’ll be an automatic starter under Val

I think I remember reading at the time the player himself wanted the shorter contract.

Not exactly a ringing endorsement of us but I'm far from being convinced by him either.

"Pessimistic" about resigning Batth and Weimann, so predictable. We have low-balled them with 1-year contracts and they want to leave. Club to spin as greedy older players/wanted guarantees to start.

Replacement a toddler from the Belgian D tier.

Its a concerted policy by the owners to make sure they don't have players contracted beyond 2 season in case they want to further gut the budget and risk having players on higher wages from a previous deal.

1 year contracts are understandable at their age and particularly with Weimann's injury. If they want to leave, they literally can with nothing to stop them - but they've not signed for anyone either as far as we know.

Personally, I'd try and tempt Batth with a 1 year contract with a clause for a 2nd year - 30 league starts for example.

Well he's better than me at least

Can imagine Rudy going to all these teams scouting players with an Orange. 5+ is the bench mark 🤣
