First. I wasn't at Derby but whatever. He was a snake about how he left the club, he lied about being at Derby the week before the Wolves game. Do I blame him for leaving, no.

Second. I didn't want Weimann anyway.

Third. If you think he doesn't want all of Brittain, Trav, Tronstad then you're naive. If he would sign them all if he could and has probably already tried. He's just doing his job of course, doesn't mean I have to like him for it.

Last. I'm annoyed at it all, the club is a circus. I come on here to vent my frustrations about it all but it's nice to know their are some fans on here trying to dictate how others should be frustrated. It's almost as if you care deeply about the feelings of some wealthy former manager that you don't know personally who has no previous history with the club... Which I find odd, or childish as you say. To me, they're all mercenaries, the days of getting some bloke's name on the back of my shirt are long gone. I have no affection for any of them, except for the odd player who comes through the academy.

Anyhow, you've said your bit and I've said mine. Enjoy the weather and have a pleasant weekend 👍🏻

I don’t disagree with much of what you say,  but most people in most walks of life will take the opportunities of a better job, whether that’s for money, working conditions or future prospects. Randomly calling someone who did a good job for us a “fat prick” does you no favours.

‘Fat hairy arse’ would be better. Apart from that, beautifully put.

You couldn't possibly be further away from aiming your ire at the right targets.

Have to say when we signed/were linked with a glut of midfielders and a RB I assumed they were just cheaper replacements for Travis/Tronstad and Brittain despite some posters bragging about how much money we'd allegedly spent.

I'm seeing nothing so far to change my mind.

Thanks for the advice, I'll watch my mouth in future. I hope I didn't offend anyone, especially John Eustace, I know how folk can be a bit overly sensitive these days.

I agree. At least we can sign a half decent replacement, well in theory, but will be looking at free transfers if leaves for nothing.

Drameh at Hull would fit the bill.

Let’s be honest…probably free transfers either way

Oh dear.

Just when things were looking slightly better.

Can't imagine Brittain staying now that official bids have been lodged, unless he's really settled at the club.

Imagine if both he and Dolan end up at Derby. Pretty embarrassing stuff.

The. They get promoted. Fuck me!

I don't take offence at what you call Eustace per se, but why would you take any offence in the first place about him coming in for our better players if we're not willing to tie them down?

If you are wrong though I’m sure you’ll be the first to hold your hands up, like you have with Tronstad.

I'm not offended, as someone else said, he's just doing his job... For a rival club, who wants to take our better players...

Let me ask you something... Does it sound unrealistic that he heard that Brittain, who we almost (apparently) had tied down to a new contract was about to sign it... Chucks in a bid to unsettle him? Why shouldn't I and others, as Rovers fans be annoyed at that? It surely isn't hard to understand.

Anyway, that's enough BRFCS for today.

Selling good players for profit and reinvesting in replacement good players. Interesting approach from Norwich.

I would not call Derby a better Job, gone for the money yes, Useless is getting players to keep Derby up, NOT a top six spot. I would also think Brockhall is much better than derby training facilities.

Brittains worked with VI at Barnsley and he had a breakthrough and hopeful he stays and signs a new deal. New right back replaces JRC as cover at right back.

I am sure it has been written that Tronstads wife can not settle in England and wants to go back to Norway, one more season for us and he can go.

If Eustace thinks Pasha is a lying nobhead who is hindering progress, nothing Waggot says comes to fruition as he’s no power and he’s getting frustrated and stressed dealing with them on a daily basis then yes Derby would be a better job.  It’s not just how good your training pitch is.

That’s why JDT wanted to walk for free.

So you agree that we only have a budget for squad players and not to buy ready made first teamers or a marquee signing.

Football is a squad game nowadays and it is more than just the starting 11 but we are adding what Ismael wanted which is pace and athleticism to this squad.

I don't want marquee signings but players who fit into how we want to play

What are you on about? You are so paranoid about making sure that you defend the club that you go off on tangents and create arguments that didnt exist.

Abit like you do every week over Forshaw or other things.

Paranoid? 😂 clueless comments. same old comments just a different day

Because we are doing everything on the cheap whilst our rivals spend big money on signings

If it was easy to make a successful team with cheap signings then every club would  be doing it

You don't think it is a worry that all our signings so far have been cheap by championship standards, they have all come from clubs that got relegated last season and they have zero championship experience?

Nobody has said that you can't pick up good players for low fees

yet we have been challenging for playoffs for the past 3 seasons over 4 seasons.

I can't give my opinions on these players we signed cos I haven't seen them play and so no I can't give any proper opinion.

Rovers seem to be targeting specific qualities in players to suit Ismael's tactics

I dont see the evidence that he has been sold a fairytale.

All he has done so far is declined an old contract from us which is almost certainly nowhere near fair.

We are 11 days post contract expiry, I think the month after expiry is also paid. So its not like we can conclude that no one has come in for him, still time to mull over his next very important move

So where are all the contract offers from clubs? why is without a club still?

Boro bidding for Brittain.

I would be gutted if he left. Always been a big fan of him.

It’s not the clubs fault brittain is leaving

the club used its initiative bringing a RB before hand and have managed to pocket 2+ million in doing so. Great deal for the venkys.

we’ve brought in 3 unknowns for peanuts and most of the fans didn’t expect us to sign anyone yet so it’s all good even tho we have lost Dolan bath weimann and more than likely brittain.

I’ve heard brittain has an uncle up north and wants to be close to him so it makes sense for him to go to boro.

saved you a job chaddy, kick back, relax and enjoy the hate.

Rovers should have got the contracts situation of Brittain, Travis, Tronstad sorted 12 months ago.

A friendly wager that all 3 don’t leave this summer window?

I don’t necessarily think all 3 will go this summer but none of them will be here beyond the expiration of their current contracts

Brittain leaving for 3 million to rival championship clubs is the absolute pits, best RB in the league and we’re going to let him walk for peanuts. You can’t even loan a decent Prem kid for that sort of money. But hey at least we’ve signed some no mark who played at St Mirren and Killie (both league 1 standard at best)

You want squad players instead of investing a few decent fees on players of the calibre of Szmodics, Hyam, Brittain etc ?

Players who've enabled this club to challenge at the top and AND avoid relegation, players who give a profitable return on the investment on and off the park ?

Give over.

Like i said there is a small budget only for initial fees for 'squaddies' just like there was under Mowbray and it's the reason this club never really challenges the top 6 in May.

The one and ONLY reason a few players have allegedly been lined up for 2/2.5 million fees and a bit of pedigree is to bring them in for when Brittain and Travis and/or Tronstad are sold. Rovers are well aware all along there is real interest in these players and it is the only time they will spend real money.

Once and for all wake up it's obvious what is going on and has been all along and living in this building a squad for Ismael is bollocks. They are doing what they always do and filling up squad places as cheap as they can whilst trying to prep to cover a few major departures.

Selling Brittain undoes any good work in the market so far.

Underlines the complete and total lack of ambition at this football club.

#VenkysOut

There's been no good work done this window so far.

Lost nearly 1000 games experience at this level and replaced with complete cheap novices.

3million for Brittain and I think they will accept! Replacing is a worry if we are not reinvesting monies received 😬 but IF they replace with Cody Drameh it wouldn’t be the worst he's a decent player and certainly quicker than Brittain which is what VI is after……..every cloud maybe? 🤷🏻‍♂️

No chance.

Brittain's replacement is already in the building.
