Surely the club don't let yon man fall through and then sell Brittain and Travis in the following days.

That'll probably be the lowest of the lows.Β

We've already had the lowest of the Lowe's

Football is a squad game nowadays and it is more than just the starting 11 but we are adding what Ismael wanted which is pace and athleticism to this squad.Β

I don't want marquee signings but players who fit into how we want to play

Abit like you do every week over Forshaw or other things.Β

Paranoid?Β πŸ˜‚Β clueless comments. same old comments just a different day

yet we have been challenging for playoffs for the past 3 seasons over 4 seasons.Β

I can't give my opinions on these players we signed cos I haven't seen them play and so no I can't give any proper opinion.Β

Rovers seem to be targeting specific qualities in players to suit Ismael's tactics

Challenging...but not getting in them.

And that was with some experience ans we werent just recruiting players with no championship experience and who had just been relegated with their previous clubs.

We lose Brittain and even just 1 or Travis and Tronstad we certainly won't be getting anywhere near the playoffsΒ

I don’t actually think we sell brittain. I think he walks away for nothing next season. Venkys are quite happy to let players walk for free - as history has shown us. I’d rather that then lose him this season as non of the cash gets reinvested anyway. Β

We’d be losing one of the best RB in the league and not invest a penny of the proceeds. Keep him and let him go for free next season.

Honestly if we can get 3m or 3.5m for a guy with 12 months left on his contract who doesn’t want to renew. Sale him and get Cody Drameh in.Β

Its not that he doesnt want to renew. He seemingly was about to but because we left it far too late, his head will be turned by a much better offer.

I don't see too many downsides for Derby. They survived relegation and would be strengthening on what they had whilst weakening another side in the same league.

Your humor by-pass, was a complete success.

Rovers should have got the contracts situation of Brittain, Travis, Tronstad sorted 12 months ago.Β

This. A club run by proper football people that know what they're doing get these contracts sorted.

Instead we've got Cirque du Suhail handling it.

'Doesn't want to renew' 😬

Player number what ?Β  who all of a sudden doesn't want to renew mysteriously after they've not even offered contract talks until its only a year left.

Honestly some people will convince themselves of anything just to keep the club narrative.

Candas Fiogbe link...don't get excited. Not even worth uploading his youtube reel. Titled Benin superstar but of course that doesn't take a lot. Scores a variety of finishes albeit that was 4 in a 2minute video where the same goal is replayed 3 times, 2 of which were tap ins. Demeanour of a Balotelli I'd say too

Haven't Brittain, Travis and Tronstad all publicly stated they want to stay and extend their contracts?

Yes, but we're not offering them contracts to stay, despite what Elliot, Nixon etc wants you to believe.

They'll be contracts to stay if they sign them.Β

I’ll say it again for those that insist this is a good window. The Championship is a unique league, you need experience, winners and nouse. We are releasing and selling players with all of the above and gambling we can replace them with cheap alternatives from foreign leagues. It’s an extremely risky decision in my opinion and I won’t be surprised when we’re in big trouble.Β

Whilst I hate the venkys who are we selling that’s winners?

100% success rate thus far.

I think the majority of BRFCs actually understand the reality of our situation.

We are fucked.

Managed decline.

And not long ago they ALL said they hadn't been offered anything.

Why that is getting swept under the table in order to suit the club narrative iv'e no idea.

Letting Batth go is the big one. Beck, although not ours, was a winner. Travis - if he goes - will be a monumental loss. Tronstad almost as big. Brittain the same. Dolan although frustrating is very experienced at this level.

I’m not sure what the relevance is, of the games I saw him play he was the best left back we’ve had in years and without doubt a winner.Β
