And presumably they could write these off by so much each year but don't ?

Having one company owing the parent 130 million must somewhere somehow have some tax advantages against the profit the parent makes ?

All I have tried to do is outline in basic terms what the connections are between club, parent company and ultimate holding company and how the club is financed.

Intercompany loans can be a complex tax area where there are write-offs due to either insolvency or for other reasons.Β

Venkateshwara Hatcheries Pvt. Ltd (as ultimate holding company) will have its own group accounts back in India.Β  Whilst there is a Double Tax Treaty between UK and India, I am unable to comment on any implications UK operations will have on VHPL.Β

Yes and the same current player no more than a month ago said how rosey everything was best football of his career how he’s loves it and wants to stay……roll on 1 month not a mention of any discontent until we hear about a rejected bid and him refusing to playΒ

why haven’t other players agreed with dackΒ

who by the way is spot onΒ

Because the project has changed again.

How many have left since he was saying all that including backroom, why wasn't he offered a contract then, how do we know other promises to him haven't been met ?

And seriously how many players still here without a foot out of the door like him are going to publicly agree with Dack and feel the wrath of the club ?

I think it's certain many will agree with him.

How do you know any of the above? You dont your assuming you cant apply any logical thinking because your hatred of the regime is that much - and to be fair that’s a product of consistent failure from the ones above.

However it’s just as feasible that a player who was rejected the chance to speak to a club has just thrown his toys out of the pramΒ

Travis and tronstad have a foot out the door they are firmly the ones in control so why wouldn’t they what have they to lose?

just like Buckley and Travis did Jan 24Β

everything doesn’t have to be this mad conspiracy it could just genuinely be normal human behaviourΒ

Come on Emerald....You can be playing your best football and have a good rapport with your team mates, and still realise the club is run by clowns.

Of course it is run by clowns but do you not think he’s just liked this now because they have denied him a move? Took the hump

and again a lot of speculation that he was ready to sign a new deal so until I hear what wages boro are offering il reserve judgement on itΒ

No football clubs are good investments.Β

We are talking in terms of outside investment/ sponsors. Β Which brand wants to be associated with Rovers at the moment?Β
Β

I’d also add there are a number of clubs in the premiership that had been sold for a profit = good investment.

I posed my answers as questions not facts so learn the difference i wasn't saying i know anything and neither do you that's the point.

The fact every post someone makes that you disagree with needs explaining to you is rather odd i mean asking why current players aren't piling in with the likes, come on ffs work it our for yourself.

Also piping up that everything is conspiracy when it's presented as nothing more than opinion, assumption or rhetorical questions is a bit of a cop out isn't it, if you can't debate it just disagree and move on there's a thumbs down for that.Β

Better still hit the ignore button you replied to my post, i replied to you and now you're getting arsey again getting into a tit for tat for the sake of it again your like fucking toothache.

You don't agree fine but don't twist things and if you think everything is conspiracy hit the ignore button if it bothers you that much i'm not ending up with a ban because of you.

On the sunken cost fallacy, there could be another, perhaps more sinister reason they won't sell nor invest in the team tucked away under Rule F.1.8. of the Premier League ownership rules.

If they have been investigated for tax evasion or money laundering, which I believe is what the Indian Directorate of Enforcement deals with, it would appear our overlords could be disqualified from owning the club should a promotion have been achieved.

(Rule F.1.10 states that they do not have to have been convicted for such an offence, only that it must be 'in the reasonable opinion of the board'- is it unreasonable to suggest it has happened if they have been investigated and subject to government sanctions?)

Promotion and subsequent disqualification would mean a cheaper sale than they would hope for (i.e. Abramovic to Boehly) or a dilution of their ownership (Dai at Reading)

It is likely that this would have been the case even before the court case became public knowledge, so perhaps we have our answer to why the investment was pulled after missing the playoffs on goal difference under JDT and now another lack of investment/not re-signing our best players this summer after being one goal away at Bramall Lane.Β

'The sanctions are no barrier to investment' we were repeatedly told. Maybe rule F.1.8 is.Β

The investigation isn’t into money laundering as that’s a different law (PMLA) than the one they’re being investigated under (FEMA).

Also, FEMA is a civil law whilst tax evasion is a criminal matter so I don’t think they’d be caught by that either.

It's a message board it's what happens and you're in the top few on here when it comes to that.

What i don't do is run around calling everything i don't agree with a conspiracy theory and if you actually took the advice you're giving back to me we wouldn't be here.

Nothing wrong with having a different opinion but don't present it like a twat a lot on here read between the lines it goes with the turf but at the end of the day it's all assumption unless there is proof. What is real is Bradly Dack mentioned the bad vibes and negative changes and Brittain has agreed with a like.

You seem to be having trouble with that but it isn't a conspiracy is it it's there for all to see and he has done if for a reason so maybe it's your new found hatred of Callum that's getting in the way.

Nah, Chansiri is going to burn out and fade away pretty quickly.

There's no sign of our purgatory ending. We, sadly, have the worst owners in football.

They are also well aware of the risks they are now running with this model and don't seem to care, so it does raise questions about how long the so called desire to remain at Championship level will last.

Depends how you look at it I supposeΒ

for me the worst owners in football are the ones who don’t pay their players that’s the nail in the coffin for me

obviously the longevity of complete incompetence from our lot is likely to win that debate but just comparing the two as of now chansiri hands down worse in his stint Β£72 for home shirt lol mentalΒ

I presume they have to present a few years business plans and cash projections for the club to the bank for the huge overdraft facility, maybe even to the parent company finance people as well.

I think there'd have to be a plan already in place should the worst happen.

Really? That's worse than ignoring and asset stripping a club over a 15 year period? Never visiting and leaving the stadium to rot. These people are the most vile owners football has ever seen.Β

Β

These mercenaries will simply get moves to other clubs for big money, they'll be fine... Think about the fans who get fucked over and the businesses that suffer in the surrounding area.Β

Β

Some weird sentimentality on here these day for grown blokes who don't give a shit about us.Β

There's loads of owners of other clubs who have attracted all sorts of negative publicity and labels of 'worst' owners in England for differing reasons. Oystons, Mike Ashley, Chansiri, Ken Anderson, SISU, Duchatelet, Carson Yeung, the other Chinese bloke at Birmingham, the one at Reading until recently, Vincent Tan at one stage.

Point is that as bad as they might have been they've all had plus points along the way, including some sporting success and took some interest in their clubs.Β

More importantly than that the bad times were relatively brief. A few years or so then it burnt out because they either gave up, ran out of money or got forced out.Β

No other example I'm aware of beyond Venkys of such a long term sustained spell of damage and destruction, with no end in sight, and so few positives. Basically the only ones people can dig up are that they've paid their bills. That's how low standards have sunk that the best they've got to their name is paying their bills and not allowing the club to go bust.

All those other clubs could move on, reunite, rebuild and look forward. We can't do that.
