So Pears will likely move on now he is 3rd choice and Michalski is second choice keeper now. Very interestingΒ

Buckley need to move on for his own sake. Hope he gets a good move for him and his career.Β

Not sure Michelski sitting on the bench all season is great for development.

Needs to be playing regular games in the under 21's for me.

The challenge is who is taking Pears, or Buckley for that matter. There's not a championship club that thinks he's good enough to be a no. 1 and he won't want to drop down a league so I'm not sure where he goes. Maybe a move abroad on loan.

A lower championship club (which is what we are anyway!) or top lge 1 club may be interested in Buckley, but again likely to be a loan move. Has decent technical ability but no idea how to use to to influence games. A bit of a nothing player.

Why are we so pressed to sign Baradgi is he so good we are willing to sign him when he's crocked? why is no one else wanting to take the gamble?

I think he's got potential to be a prem league player in the future hence why some bigger clubs have been linked with him, but they probably want to see him perform at a higher level first. He has all the right attributes.

Or out on loan at a decent enough level.Β  If we can get him a National League loan (or below), then there are no restrictions with recalling him (in case of injuries/suspension to Toth) even outside of the transfer window

Then Buckley will have to move to league 1 as he's not getting in anyone's first 11 in the Championship. Already flopped at Sheffield W.

There are basically two types of players - those who play to get you on top in the game and then there are those that play when the first type of players have got you on top. Β Buckley belongs in the second category.

Work permits are government issued.

Registration is an FA issue:

Work permits are issued by the FA.

The work permit is then included in the application (to the Home Office) for the player to be allowed into (and to stay in) the country.

Think it’s more someone asked him to be fair

The first he mentioned Mafoumbi a few weeks ago was after Mafoumbi' s esc slot was mentioned in discussion on here

Also, it would be remiss of him not not at least have a scan of this forum on a semi to fairly regular basis

It's fixed.

He wouldn't be able to train or play for the U21's without it. (or be employed by the club)

Only way to free the space up is for him to leave the club.

We could employ him , he just wouldn’t be allowed to do anything.

Maybe he could be the new CEO 😁

Speaking as a veteran Crohn’s expert (45 years and counting), the good news is that biologic drugs have revolutionized its management, with years or even decades of remission being far more common than in the past. The bad news is that its course is completely unpredictable and he could be in for major surgery next month - but then so could Wharton, Carter and Leonard. The one thing I’d say is he won’t be a malingerer in the treatment room for slight knocks - you soon learn that remission is a gift to be made the most of.

Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest. Val keeps mentioning mistakes with the contracts which likely means one of trav/tronstad will go. Trav will hold more of a price tag and as much as we love him there’s not many teams knocking on the door for him so Derby would be a good fit for him with Eustace thereΒ

Would you be content with an 18 year old goalkeeper with no experience being the immediate back up? One injury and you are throwing him in and its a huge risk.

We HAVE to sign another keeper if Pears goes.

It's pretty inexcusable that any Football League club would sign an ESC player on a 3yr deal, and be over a year without even a legitimate sniff of the first team (Pre-season, EFL/FA cup squads etc), and now be in a position where that players slot is a hindering factor.

Feel sorry for the lad as it isn't his fault. But he needs moved.
