You are just parroting whatever the club says. We only need a right winger and replacements. The issues have all come pre Ismael. Season of transition.

The issues are not just historical. Yes, contracts should have been offered before and I was certainly stronger on that than you who told me to stop going on about it. But if those problems had been resolved, those deals could still be done in some cases. Take Hyam, even with a willingness to sign, we still are incapable of putting an improved deal in front of him. And you believe that its just all problems in the past? And things are different?

Montgomery was playing in the 9th tier last season. Because of cut backs, hes just assumed as a ready made first teamer. Its not healthy. Theres a difference between bringing in players that are ready and just shoving loads within the first team squad at once regardless of readiness to hit arbitary targets and cut costs.

I really don't know why I bothered and taking time to your questions cos you just come back that first sentence. So all getting abit tedious and monotonous with yourself now. I leave it there tonight and until after the Birmingham game. Let's hope we get our first win and we can go all home happy

not sure where you`ve got that one from, jdt dropped him and preferred sonny and adam wharton ,then loaned him out to ipswich🙂

Are our saying it was JDT's decision to loan Travis out to Ipswich? Surely the motive was financial, to get him off the books?

That's hardly Head Coach territory is it?

I dont know why you keep saying "historic failures" when the same idiots are running things.

He says it because that's what the Club said.

The bean counters were happy to get him off the books but JDT did say that him and Travis had spoken and Travis wasn't happy that he wasn't playing .

He hadn't started a game In central midfield in something like 3 months as far as I can recall

Utterly stupid to send him out and then sell Wharton like , but they had told JDT that Wharton wasn't being sold

Just looked at some of the low value transfers in the division... Imagine a world where a club builds on progress and keeps their better players:

Toth, Pears
Brittain, NEW
Batth, Hyam, Carter, Wharton
Pickering, Ribeiro
Travis, Tronstad, NEW, NEW
Dolan, NEW
Cantwell, Wiemann
Kargbo, NEW
Ohashi, Gueye, NEW, NEW

Ryan Hardie comes in for £750k and any other striker from Emil Riis, Carlton Morris or Oli McBurnie on a free.

Djeidi Gassama for one of the wing spots - £2m, Kwame Poku on a free for the other.

Jeffrey Schlupp & John Swift on frees to cover midfield.

I'd be confident of a top 4 finish with JE in charge.

Instead we've spent around £4m (plus when the accounts are released no doubt we'll have one of the highest agent expenditures in the division) on mostly untested foreign imports. (Whilst bringing in roughly the same in sales let's not forget)

For anyone saying 'but the wages'... Adam Wharton, Sammie Szmodics, David Raya, Sam Gallagher, Leo Wahlstedt, Niall Ennis, Thomas Kaminski, Ashley Phillips, etc, etc. £40m+ income over the past 2 years.

Fuck knows where we'll be and what the squad will look like in another 12 months.
