How Jerome Anderson managed to do so much damage, avoid media scrutiny (despite media darling Alex Ferguson’s comments) and walk away Scot free is criminal.

The man was a grade A slimy cunt. Nasty piece of work. A huge reason why we are where we are.

he's still here through suhail ....his proxyΒ

There's clearly no intention to sell or to get us back to the PL.

Those who believe that they are keeping us with a view to getting back to the PL to recover their investment I think are deluded.

The only calculations they need to be thinking about are whether they want another 10 years of funding a Championship / League One club to the tune of Β£10 million+ a year, ultimately costing them a further Β£100 million or more on top of what it has already cost, or whether they are better putting a stop to it now, stopping the drain of money and handing it over for a nominal amount to someone willing to try and better the club.Β

Β

For gods sake guys .....all monies spent till now is monitization of SBI instrument and borrowed against ... which is why court case triggered for non-intended expenditure and court ask them put their own monies as collateral ... not spending double like media and PR circus... if they sell the club instrument will be called and they need to repay loan ..so they'll keep kicking the can down the road till they can politically write off as bad debt in SBI

3 possible scenario for loan to be bad debt in INDIA

I) borrowing signitory dies,Β

II) lynchpin who brokered this(suhail) loses confidence or diesΒ

III) Venky's get enough political clout to exit this mess

this could be all my paranoia πŸ˜„

Looks like "transition" season is going to be the new buzzword this season, with VI mentioning it in every single interview.

I swear it’s a transition season every seasonΒ

It is as clear a case of the Sunk Cost Fallacy as I've ever come across..

Could you elaborate further?

What is this SBI instrument? (bank?)
How much did they borrow? Are you saying that amount is now spent and this is the reason for the dramatic budget cuts?
If it is an Indian bank, what are the terms of payback? Can it just go on indefinitely?
Who is the borrowing signitory (sic)?

Are you suggesting that the only way the Raos leave is if one of i-iii of your list happens?

SBI is the State Bank of India. We (or Venkys at least, to fund us) certainly do borrow from them quite a lot (I think in the fairly early days we stopped using Barclays, I might be misremembering but I think they weren't really willing to sign off on an increased overdraft facility). I don't know how much of what they send us is borrowed from SBI though. They've borrowed with their land in India as collateral before.

Summer transfer news , seems to have fallen off a cliff , anybody think like me that the powers that be , will be doing sweet FA untilΒ

Friday August 29th at the earliest ?

Then scrambling for a Bournemouth and Boscombe young reserve team player , thatΒ  nobody else is interested in !

They don’t count, didn’t you know?

Its only about Β£40m and we don’t get it all at once.Β

The last money Venkys sent over was to cover contractual and statutory obligations for March - June.

I think our transfer dealings are now with the intent of β€˜keeping the lights on’.

I’d be amazed if we spend even a tiny fraction of any more fees we bring in.

Totally inexplicable that a right winger has not been identified and brought in

worse again that a striker isn’t even on the agendaΒ

and just for the hat trick it looks very likely we will be replacing Travis with a player who either now or some stage soon will be out for 12/16weeks

Seeing as income does not impact the budget, I am sure you are right πŸ˜‰Β

Just finished the Glen Mullan pod, I must have missed it at the time, but apparently Pasha has never even asked Venkys about the possibility of Rovers using x% of any money from transfer fees received to build the squad!
