Duru's mam is from Phili and he is eligible to play for the US so perhaps it's something that was always on the cards.

No doubt the new regime was only too happy to oblige him in finding something out there.

The club is a mess mate nothing to do with being entitled

Β Both can be trueΒ

I find it hard to accept Tom Bloxham is bitter towards rovers beyond anything other than his own failings produced little to none at youth level over a number of years failed at Harrogate and is yet to be picked up by any club in the football pyramidΒ

there’s a lot of obvious failings at the club but I don’t take his comment as telling, if it came from someone with relative success like say gamble who commented above I’d probably read more into itΒ

Was just going to post this. Very telling, Even youth players who haven’t made a name for themselves yet wanting out

The only thing I think it is telling about is that Tom Bloxham is very bitter about not making it here and being released. If it came from someone like Sammie Szmodics, Dolan, Baath etc then it would be very telling as you say.

You mean like Dolan, Britain and Tronstad all congratulating Batth turning down a new contract here and announcing he'd signed for Derby.

It's got EVERYTHING to do with being entitled when it comes to "professional" footballers and their agents.Β

Yes. Did they congratulate him turning down a new contract though or did they congratulate him on his move with its subsequent wage bump?

I don't see it as an attack on the club, more so the clubs hierarchy

Personally I would prefer it if every player who left was more vocal about the shambles of a club we have become, draw some national attention to it, it might force the media, EFL & FA to look atΒ  things properly

It’s a difficult one there’s clearly ndas in play for the managers who have moved on - they won’t break those for obvious reasonsΒ

as for players if the club haven’t did anything β€˜wrong’ it’s defamation. Whilst most rovers would agree how the running of our club is pretty much shambolic they haven’t done anything β€˜wrong’

cost cutting whilst we hate it and it’s obvious it’s their club they can choose to do that

lack of contract offers or reasonable offers again they can choose to do thatΒ

hiring of staff not qualified for the role again their club their choiceΒ

even if they brought to light the harsh treatment of valued staff etc like Radcliffe did at United the scrutiny lasts about 2/3 days then forgot aboutΒ

it’s so hardΒ

Β

They had to finish early at 2pm as loading all the european lower leagues at once on Football Manager was too much for their laptop (the scouting team share one these days to save on costs) and it overheated

Never fear though, Pasha got us a great deal on a super new laptop from Davesortsitout4U452538527 on ebay, he has 83% positive feedback, so its looking good for a return to work after the weekendΒ Β πŸ˜‰Β

further proof to me that we`re f****d and will likely be going down

Yep. Apart from our social media team and the first team players who have a club-owned mic shoved under their nose, there’s nothing positive coming out of the club. It’s clearly a horrible place to be right now - both players and back room staff. As you say, it’ll only lead to one outcome.

Playing devil's advocate, if say, Dolan or someone established in the first team had said that, would you have the same opinion or be congratulating them on making the situation public?

Is that type of player we want β€˜not as good as the ones that have left’? If so, you have a point.

I think Miyoshi is a quality player and better than Dolan.Β

Sunderland's Ian Poveda is available, would anyone take him?Β
