do these big holes still here or have our signings fill there? have we miss either Batth or Weimann?

All depends who these clubs were. We don't know but Ismael will.

I looking forward to seeing Baradji playing and the type of player he is

Yes chaddy, in fact we have a number of massive holes based on last season. We dont know how any replacements willl do, but if we compare the team that finished 7th last season to this, some huge holes have been created.

Brittain has left a giant hole both in defence and attack. Travis has left a massive hole both in effectiveness and leadership. Dolan leaves a huge hole. Beck leaves a decent sized hole.

Batth was outstanding last season. For what its worth, I think McLaughlin is possibly our best signing. I think he will be better than Batth this season, who is aging, but its irrelevant. I dont expect him to be quite as good as Batth was last season in a Rovers shirt, so its probably a small downgrade which is probably the best we can do. Weimann leaves a lesser but still decent sized hole. Again, what these players do this season now they are gone is irrelevant.

Some of the above players and their importance has been underplayed because they are no longer Rovers players.

We have also lost a manager compared to last season who IMO was clearly better than Ismael, and is better than most in the league.

Equally, I think one or two we already had eg Cantwell will do better this season.

You seem to view things purely by counting players rather than on quality. You also suggest we havent missed players when we have actually lost 3 of 4 games.

This 100%. Hate English media, both ways , bigging them up and then destroying them when they fail

We haven't really failed for a while.  Under age groups dominating tournaments . Women's team dominating.  And even the senior team has been successful comparative to our overall record in tournaments

Another full back.  Why aren't we signing Another forward

The guy plays as a winger, normally on the right if I’m not mistaken. He has in the past played many other positions though so that’s probably where you got the idea he was a full back from.

From what I saw on YouTube he's an 8 or a 10 - not a fullback

A fullback with 14 goals and 14 assists in all competitions last season, I’m having all of that baby

Who cares about the media, never understood this mantra. Ignore them, they mean fuck all to anyone. Who cares what they think and write/post, if you do then you’re soft.

He’s not scoring 16 goals last season from right back is he!

Sorry, 14 goals and 14 assists.

He’s been on the wing for Legia.

A full back able to do that would signing for a champions league side.

Two things I remember Hildersley for was scoring a worldie at Shrewsbury and scoring at Welling in the cup.

I was there for the Welling FA third cup game. 1-0. Scored quite early in the gane.

In reality, we are a Champions League side. 😛

Looks like a decent signing on the face of it. I was excited by Henrikson signing though, and those expectations have come right back down to earth!

Needed a winger, although Hedges turned into prime Ronaldo against Hull, now we have one.

It's on Wikipedia.  Fullback wingback

Wikipedia is not the most reliable of sources 😉
