Backroom Popular Post Tom Posted 3 hours ago Backroom Popular Post Posted 3 hours ago So the player liaison officer is ‘so glad to be out’? She really should go to the police if we held her hostage or against her will, maybe she was hard done by, maybe she’s bitter or maybe it’s in the shades of grey. The club is a mess behind the scenes we know that but it’s easy to take shots once you have stopped being paid. 11 Quote

Just comes across like she’s bitter. We’ve been stuck in the doldrums for ages. Looks like we’re finally mixing things up and trying something new rather than doing the same old shit every year. Glad we’re shaking things up to be honest. And anyone stuck in a perpetual pity party should be let go. None of us on here have the inside track on how she was treated. Clearly there is something up for her to post that. 4 1 Quote

He did ok but on an attacking sense we neec more. However with a good extra forward we could find it hard to score Pretty much. The amount of times in the last few years I've thought "man if there was just a CM making a run into the box here they have the freedom of Ewood to pick their spot in the back of the net". Hopefully one of the two CMs will push on now. I know Tavares wanted ten goal contributions this season... 1 Quote

I think most posters on here, know only too well that there is something inherently wrong at the club. Granted it started 15 years ago, but the recent recruitment of Gestede and the prominent role that Sufi now seems to have, look to have created a big rift. How deep that goes, I do not know, but the old guard seem to have been largely cleaned out, so something looks very amiss. 6 Quote
Bohinen1983 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Just watched Buckleys interview again, the lads gutted! Would rather have kept him than sign Tavares. The lad bleeds blue and white.. Surely he was worth a go as a deep lying play maker alongside Trondstadt. Oh well, gutted. Such a shame. 4 Quote

Clearly there is something up for her to post that. Doesn't really matter. It's still unprofessional and, quite frankly, a bit pathetic. I've had jobs end in bitter circumstances and had instances where I felt like I was mistreated or got the short end of the stick, but I didn't start running my trap on LinkedIn posts or fundamentally trolling my former employer. And that is in an environment where my former employer didn't have fans and supporters. She knows what she's doing or she's a moron. Either way, it's not a great look. A former player liaison is going further than former players are going. Just let that sink in for a minute. It lacks class. It lacks professionalism. 12 Quote

Popular Post Giant Posted 3 hours ago Popular Post Posted 3 hours ago Oh for the days when players didn’t have social media to vent their views, emotions, grievances etc etc. Tweets, photos, emojis, so boring and too much self indulgent garbage being spouted. We’re all supposed to feel sorry for rich footballers who feel hard done to because someone has dented their egos. Footballers and managers rarely show loyalty to their clubs, but my goodness do they milk it when they want a move, a bigger pay packet or feel hard done to. Football has become like an episode of Love Island off the field. 11 Quote

Obviously won't talk about a striker because RG won't want it thrown back it him when we fail. The lack of loan players at Ewood could paradoxically make us look very attractive for a Prem club with a young striker they desperately want to see getting game time. I'm glad we're not paying money for loans - so we may look very attractive to PL clubs, but we wouldn't be at the front of the queue. Quote

A) Venkys don’t really care (we’re just a line in the group P&L) and b) Pasha certainly doesn’t care what we, the fans think. Venkys are the WORST thing to ever happen to Rovers but I believe you and many others are barking up the wrong tree here. My understanding is that the problem is, they just don’t really care either way. ? Totally agree and always have with this. 1 Quote

Popular Post TommyRovers Posted 3 hours ago Popular Post Posted 3 hours ago The cryptic posts annoy me too. We know the clubs shit behind the scenes. We don't want hints and wink winks. Either tell us or don't post anything at all. 17 Quote

We all know the culture throughout the club has been rotten for years. We’ve been perennial losers. The total inability to come back from going behind. The total lack of ability to win midweek away matches. Always losing the big games. Always managing a win when it doesn’t matter anymore. These things tell me all I need to know. So a clear out was needed. Maybe it will work, maybe it won’t. But a least we are trying to do something different. Edited 2 hours ago by Tyrone Shoelaces 7 Quote
