RoversClitheroe Posted Monday at 13:53 Posted Monday at 13:53 Hyam to Wrexham, Connor O'Riordan recalled? Quote
moerpho Posted Monday at 13:53 Posted Monday at 13:53 (edited) It might be because I’m a bit deflated and out of the loop these days, but does this window feel different? Lots of business done across the leagues way ahead of deadline day so not much fuzz today. Can I say I kinda miss the transfer day chaos? Not the fax-induced PTSD or the like, but just the buzz that used to follow deadline day. Will he stay? Will he sign? Any «secrets»?  Today….nothing. Just this stupid Isak/Wissa deal in the PL. Would love to see us do a «marquee» signing, but all signs point to a definite NO…just like the previous gazillion windows. Is it just me or does football kinda suck these days? Edited Monday at 13:56 by moerpho As I wrote this post the rumour about Hyam got posted. Point still stands. 1 Quote

Trinidad Rover Posted Monday at 13:54 Posted Monday at 13:54 SURELY selling Hyam is a step too far. Surely. Â Quote

The priority surely needs to be a DM and striker if at all possible Youan can play anywhere across the front 3, and we would have Ohashi/Gudjohnson as the starter. Even Kargbo can/has played striker before. Quote
B16Rover Posted Monday at 13:54 Posted Monday at 13:54 Selling Hyam and Gueye without reinforcements is suicide. That said, we've only signed players immediately after selling one - so suggest that may be the two inbound 3 Quote
Ruaney Posted Monday at 13:55 Posted Monday at 13:55 Majority have been saying O’Rourke is way off these days. But on deadline day we’re believing everything he says? Quote
Browjd Posted Monday at 13:55 Posted Monday at 13:55 Hyam won't be sold today- it's just to tell him they want him in Jan. 1 Quote

Doubt the loan deal would include a recall clause until January, but certainly next year that will be the plan. If we do shift Hyam today I reckon we'd get a loan and Miller would become the starter. paullarrygher Posted Monday at 13:57 Posted Monday at 13:57 Jackson reporting that we've rejected two bids around £2m. Third bid expected and growing likelihood that Hyam will go. Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted Monday at 13:58 Posted Monday at 13:58 I am far, far from Hyam's biggest fan but to sell him now would be utter madness and would be pretty much proof for me that our owners/"advisor" are keen to send us down this season. 7 Quote

rob_of_the_rovers Posted Monday at 13:59 Posted Monday at 13:59 Sell Hyam and spend the last couple of hours scrabbling around trying to find a PL kid on loan who no-one else has picked up yet. What's Billy Koumetio up to these days? 1 Quote

DutchRover Posted Monday at 13:59 Posted Monday at 13:59 Selling anyone today (except Leonard) would be a disaster unless the replacement in in the building and signing when we sell. Even then we don't have a good track record on deadline day... 2 Quote

Polky Posted Monday at 14:00 Posted Monday at 14:00 If we could get £3m - £4m for Hyam in the last 12 months of his contract, then it’s a great deal. But the fact it’s on deadline day and we all know we won’t get a competent replacement in, we can’t let him go this late. 1 Quote
rovers11 Posted Monday at 14:02 Posted Monday at 14:02 Hyam likely to be sold today. Oh dear, that's a massive blow. Can we even get a replacement in at this stage? Our leader and mr consistent at the back sold. That's not a good move at all for us. The spine of the team has been blown apart this summer. Quote
