I don't think building a stronger squad is on their agenda - IMO, it's all about slashing costs and getting rid of the 'dissenters' in the club whether it be players, football staff or other staff. Spot on.ย They've denied it all, but based on the treatment of the LET and Elliott Jackson, it's quite evident how they treat people that aren't 'aligned'. 3 Quote

Let's see if they get anyone over the line that isn't a Rovers fan. I really wouldn't be surprised if he's off in January. Quote
neophox Posted yesterday at 11:37 Posted yesterday at 11:37 Jesper Karlsson on loan at Aberdeen would be something. Great talent but not at Bologna. Quote

Tomphil2 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago (edited) I'd assume Scotty was an easy one to do given all the variables and i doubt he;ll be going anywhere soon. Then again when the forces in the shadows get to work anything can happen i wouldn't trust these feckers as far as i could shove them. Every player is a ยฃ sign and potential commission as is their cheaper wage replacements. Edited 17 hours ago by Tomphil2 Quote
roversfan99 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago I dont think its to cash in as I cant see a flurry of teams or any decent fees being offered. Has serious injury red flags even if he has a run of games between now and January. Hes a decent age but not young enough to cause a spike in price. And although hes usually solid, I dont think that his Watford return is by any means standard for him. Its an easy deal to do, obviously a Rovers fan, not a player playing above his level, weak negotiating power considering the injuries and all thats been done is a year added. A good decision to sign him up but it wont be a big wage spike by any means. 1 Quote

VI said medium term what ever that means.ย It is becoming more and more apparent that they had no clue as tonthe actual extent of his injust or what it would take to get him healthy.ย Idiots the lot of em. As for Scotty's new contract well that is to help inflate his sale price nothing more nothing less.ย A real dumbass move shipping Hyam off but they just don't care they don't not a one of em.ย January outs, Tronstadt, Wharton and Cantwell. Ismael initially ruled him out until after the October break but did caveat that it could take longer. Now, it appears that Rovers fans will likely have to wait until December for his debut, though more will become clear in the next week. "He made good progress, we will have a clear picture within 10 days," Ismael said ahead of the match against Stoke City. "Then we'll know how long it'll be but he's making good progress. Hopefully, in my mind, it's after the November international break that we see him. "Nothing has gone against that but in 10 days we'll have a better picture. โThe big chance we have with Moussa is settling him properly with an apartment and with everything he needs for him and his family. โThe next step is to pass his rehabilitation and to make him ready to make sure when he is back on the pitch that heโll be able to stay on there and help us." Appreciate the update on Baradji at least it is something.ย Foot injuries can be difficult due to limited blood flow.ย Must be handled properly or it will become a life long struggle. 1 Quote

Must be handled correctly yes.ย The question is why did we choose to replace Travis with him when we knew about this issue. My guess is he was the first choice and they must've felt that someone else would get him if we didn't jump in now. But even so maybe we should've moved on to someone else. Quote

They did try for a couple more, unfortunately their unwillingness to pay the going rate in wages led to Brian De Keersmaecker signing for Oxford & Mรกrk Kosznovszky ending up at Portsmouth, although I believe thatย Kosznovszky was probably an alternative to Henriksson rather than Baradji https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25296373.blackburn-rovers-target-explains-move-championship-rivals/ https://lowertiers.co.uk/blackburn-to-move-for-mark-kosznovszky/ Edit - I suppose that the silver lining here is that De Keersmaecker especially has adapted very quickly to the Championship, winning a few plaudits, so if our scouting team identified them alongside Baradji, then hopefully if/when he is fit, he becomes as important to Rovers as he has been to Oxford.ย The other option of course is that we just plumped for the cheaper (and less good) option Edited 7 hours ago by KentExile 1 Quote
