Qatar SC is owned by the Qatari government through Qatar Sports Investments (QSi). QSi is a Qatari-government operated shareholding organization and a subsidiary of the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), the state-run sovereign-wealth fund……

I wondered when that would be made public.

I E Mailed the Pinatar arena this morning, but have not had a response yet.

I have heard a whisper it is Elche that we play on the 26th at 4.00pm.

Seems to be Elche but LT confused with dates I think!!! :

Rovers' marquee fixture is against Spanish club Elche. They were promoted from the Segunda Division last season after finishing runner-up to Levante.

Bambo Diaby is a recognisable name after his exploits in England with Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday. They are managed by Eder Sarabia, who has been in charge for the last 12 months.

That match will be played on Friday, August 25 and will also kick-off at 7pm. Supporters are invited to fly out and watch both fixtures as Ismael's side prepare for the 2025/26 season.

Its probably me that got that wrong, as I think Friday is correct.

Hopefully the new signings, will be there.

norwich splashing out 7 million for a danish centre forward, can only deduce they are selling sargeant to fund that outlay, bit of a risk spending that much on an unproven player

Lot of dosh but at 23, a full Danish international with over 100 games with Brondby and 20+ goals for them last season, I'd say it's a fair punt.  Even if they are selling Sargent, at least they are reinvesting which is more than Rovers do!!!!

He's not really unproven playing at the level he has for Brondby and he's just made his debut for the national team, I'd be made up if we took a punt on him

looking more closely at him,you are right, could score a panful and get a possible move to the premier league with norwich trebleing their money, buying with a possible sell on profit, that was one of our many transfer models before it went completely **** up at ewood and we resorted to buying flotsam and jetsam

Great film.

Didn't he say to Alf Roberts (Coronation St) in finest Michael Caine "You were were only meant to blow the bloody doors off" style:

"You're a big man but you're out of shape!"

😂
