It's almost as though you've been paying attention to what's happening right in front of your face and you're not a complete fucking brain dead imbecile.

A shame that others can't see what happening and just parrot club propaganda because they have absolutely no ability to form a thought of their own.

Beat Watford so it’s all rosey again, hard to get excited with rovers until the owners sell it in my opinion

No it's not all rosy again but surely we are allowed to enjoy a win and very good performance.

If you can't enjoy Rovers winning it says more about you than the ones who do enjoy it.

But the enjoyment is fleeting as even if we'd win every single game going into January we know that there would be some carnage created to sabotage the prospect of promotion or real success.

I always enjoy when we win, and I think everyone else here does, but it's all a bit pointless in the long term. There is nothing to get excited about.

Slightly contradictory there. Enjoying a win but then it's a bit pointless?

Almost everyone knows the issues at the club but days like yesterday are a release from the off the field issues.

I think it's fair to say some supporters get far more pleasure from winning than others.

Not really contradictory, short term enjoyment of a win but long term you know it means nothing.

A bit like being thousands of pounds in debt that you know you're going to struggle paying off for probably the rest of your life, but you'd still be buzzing if you found a tenner on the street.

Totally agree with the above arbitro.  Yesterday was exactly what following Rovers is about.  So much to be encouraged about.  I must admit that looking at some of the individual performances yesterday, I think Gestede and his crew deserve a bit of praise for finding some of these players who, to be honest, I'd never heard of until they arrived here.  Morishita, like Ohashi, has skill and the right work ethic.  Gudjohnsen looks a real handful, Miller is a player who can adapt to different roles and certainly lets the opposition know he's not to be messed with.  Alebiosu is really growing on me as an attacking right-back.

Admittedly, it's still early on in the season, but I've seen plenty to be encouraged about with this rebuild thus far.  Val has got the type of players he wants to work with so it will be interesting to see how it develops.  It was also great to see Carter and Wharton back to their best yesterday.  I'm especially pleased for Scott who bleeds 'blue and white' and after his injuries it was wonderful to see him in such commanding form.

It's six points from five games.

I'd say relief was more appropriate than enjoyment yesterday. We bloody needed that.

You speak for yourself when you say relief but I can assure you everyone I saw and spoke to at the game really enjoyed it.

It is six points from five games but as we have been talking specifically about yesterday it was a day to enjoy as a Rovers fan.

Glad you enjoyed the day out.

1n he wider scheme of things if you "enjoy" bobbing along between 15th and 21st - that's your (and Parson's) prerogative.

As such knowledgeable and seasoned observers I can't understand why you both seem to be so content for us to be poor.

Posts like that do you absolutely no favours.

We weren't poor yesterday and that is the thrust of the debate.

I don't think anybody has said they enjoy 'bobbing along between 15th and 21st' - that's your spin to suit your own narrative.

There is a lot to be critical of at Rovers for sure but having a dig a supporters who enjoyed a win and good day out is frankly childish.

I will whisper it again but what if these so and sos have got it right?

Wages down, age profile down, a smaller squad but genuine competition for places all over the park.

In Morishita and Gudjonsson we might have qualities we were sadly lacking last season.

A manager who has generated real togetherness knitting the biggest rag bag of pick ups together since Ken Furphy was in the seat.

Very early days but it isn't really a one off as there was the Hull performance and both the Brum and Norwich games were thrown away really we weren't battered.

So to turn in a display like yesterday after so much recent changes and upheavel they ALL deserve a bit of credit,

Biggest test yet is to come in the shape of Ipswich and we need a complete performance in that one to start to build up a bit of genuine belief.

I was actually going to dare to suggest in a few months we may be debating if indeed it was Waggot and his methods who has been holding the whole club back for years ?

Something which has cropped up in the past.

Still way too early for that though but the transition might turn into a mini revolution, a load of people with something to prove rather than going through the motions.

We'll see.
