Hes gone from a minor role straight through to an important one based on very little.

Season ticket policies are piss poor and he talked a load of shit trying to justify it in that podcast he appeared on.

didn't realise you were such an expert on recruitment and whether someone is suitable for that role or not, good to know

hope you taken a stand against buying a ST given your viewpoint on ST policies being piss poor and he talked a load of shit trying to justify it

By extension then, none of us are an expert on anything. Close the forum, there's nowt to discuss as we must trust whatever happens is true and fair.

The shirt itself would  look nice enough if it was a normal year but it's an absolute disgrace that this is basically just a normal shirt and the anniversary hasnt been been noted on the front of the shirt somehow with the badge.

How can they get something so simple so badly wrong?  Par for the course with this regime unfortunately.

I'm assuming that if an actual anniversary shirt is released at some point, the thinking is that they will try and rinse anyone who is daft enough to pay £50 or £60 for a top twice.

Got there about 5.45pm and straight in, no waiting, very simple process to buy one, 5 minutes in the queue and got the home shirt today. Fits well on me. Not over busy when I went buts seem plenty of fans turned up

Bar open for anyone who wanted a drink. Good move.

Staff very helpful. Yasir Sufi was there engaging and talking to fans.

Shame yesterday leak spoilt it But pleased Rovers did such an event like this

.

I'm reminded of the character in the waistcoat in The Fast Show who always had impossibly fortunate stuff happening unexpectedly to him and ended up by saying :

"Which was nice!"

And the one who goes shopping…that’s Rudy isn’t it?

”Did you get the new centre back, midfielder & striker that we desperately need dear..?”

”Even better than that…I got a candlabra, a new cordless drill & a meat pie…”

I'm really not that hung up on having a different badge, for 34 years of my 40 we've had the current badge and the 6 years prior to that we had a Tudor Rose. Our quartered shirts are our badge in essence, some sort of heraldry or scroll would have been nice.

As I've said, nice shirt in its own right I just think it's stuck being neither modern nor retro, design is a nod to the 60's but with no other retro elements

Got a few theories as to how this kit release is going to go. Quite a lot of people are grateful for the early release, but I think this was part of the plan as they decided to pull their finger out to help get more sales.

Get the home kit released early, gives more time to separate between that one and the away kit and the third kit.

I am expecting the third one to be more of alt home shirt with a retro design. Could possibly wear it for the home match closest to the 5th November but if they get the home shirt sales in first, then released the retro shirt, they can get two or even three shirts sold for some fans.

Thoughts anyone?

Haven't even bothered with that this year.

I do agree that the shirt looks fine for what it is, but the lack of quarters really irritates me.

Agree wholeheartedly! If the colours aren’t reversed, it’s not a Rovers shirt

‘Int Rovers brilliant, blue and white kit, brilliant, no contracts, brilliant, expensive season tickets, brilliant!’
