Our fixtures are released next Thursday (26/7).

Premier League fixtures are released today, with the dingles being in there we should have a good idea today as to whether we will be home or away on the opening, last, boxing day etc.

Away boxing day and home on the final day going off there fixtures.

Looking at their games it appears that there are no Boxing Day or NYD fixtures in the Premier League.

The fixture list will be absolutely butchered for TV before long.

Wouldn't surprise me if some of those fixtures on the 27th December were moved to boxing day for TV coverage, and some to Sunday the 28th too.

Then that could have a knock on affect for the games on the 30th December to move a day or two and end up on NYD which is a Thursday, and then some Saturday 3rd Jan fixtures moved to the Sunday etc.

Be interesting to see what the Championship schedule is over Christmas.

I could see 26th, 29th December, 1st and 4th January for the games.

They are subject to change but why didn't they just arrange the programme for Boxing Day and then give the 'subject to change' line (which all fixtures are anyway).

Yeah it is odd that they haven't scheduled anything in for boxing day to be fair.

Can't be a time where that has happened before.

The Premier League have said there being no Boxing Day games is due to their commitment to give players more time between matches during the festive period - but they added that games can be moved to Boxing Day for TV.

He who pays the piper calls the tune.

You would expect 3 games moved from the Saturday to Boxing day for PL teams, 12.30, 5pm and 8pm kick off.

So its looks like Rovers will be away first game. Wouldn't mind Derby away or Stoke away. Expect Southampton or Charlton away

I wouldn't mind Leicester or Wrexham at home first game at all.

Yep, defo need to rest on an age old football day like Boxing Day considering all the commitments players have like playing in empty grounds in the US in June and post season tours to Hong Kong…

So fans can't have their traditional boxing day fixtures because the big clubs have cried to the EPL bosses about over working their bloated over paid squads.

Unless of course the TV selects a few tasty fixture to be played on that day, no questions asked.

The Prem is the land of milk and honey and you have to have something to play for but inn reality it stinks.
