I'd like to see us try Alebiosu in front of Miller on the right hand side tomorrow.

Then play Wharton, Pickering, Tavares, Montgomery, Gueye and Kargbo from the start.

There'll be no-one there but the game has now become quite important in the context of the season.

We need to show some fluidity, put in a decent performance and win to build a bit of momentum.

A few goals wouldn't hurt either.

I suspect we will make wholesale changes, it might depend on how seriously Bradford take it.

Our squad depth is obviously a problem. If we go for a mix of youngsters with barely any/in most cases no senior experience (Tyjon, LMM, Atcheson, Michalski), new signings gaining fitness (Miller, Tavares) and then just the odd more senior squad player who themselves havent had as many minutes in pre season, then I think they will fancy their chances.

Another rude awakening coming up here. Bradford are no giant killers, but sadly we are not in that ball game anymore. Make no mistake through, to beat the mighty Blackburn Rovers at Ewood would be seen as a very good scalp for the Bantams, whereas we would (normally) be expected to win at a canter. I want Rovers to take this game seriously, field a competitive and coherent team, and to go for a win. Anything less will be a cause for concern.

COYB!

Think this is about right.

I think we should play our full strength team (whatever that is!)

  • it’s only the second game of the season
  • we need to integrate the new players
  • 5 subs means plenty can be rested once (if) the game is won

Agreed entirely

this is an income generating competition

each round potentially =£

our players need mins together especially after watching the new ones yesterday

we are Rovers we should be going for this competition

Oh, there'll be someone there, quite looking forward to it.

I cant see it. We have had huge turnover in our squad and as Wilsden said need to pick a relatively consistent team to find our rhythm.

I feel like Travis might be left out due to an incoming transfer, and we may try three at the back. But all the other key players will be out there.

We've lost 4 players from last season, it's going to take a few games for the replacements to be on the same wave length. I'm going 5-0 to Rovers  bounce back after the west brom disappointment.

Harry Leonards just coming back from injury  hes expected to play for the under 21s. We've not many options up front at the moment.

We have to play the 1st team and play well to gain some confidence. If we are a couple of goals up in the 2nd half, then we can bring on the youngsters like Michalski, Tyjon etc.

Wishful thinking a couple of goals, after Saturdays attacking performance.

Were are the goals coming from after Saturdays performance. We need to improve 98%.
