Ominous reading this after one league game 😅 it does somehow already feel like we're in a months long spiral though.

Was more geared towards, we might have a shit start but our season will turn eventually it has to. I don't think out team will send us to relegation? I think there's enough there to keep us afloat but can't see us going for a playoff spot either

Honestly, I do see a relegation team. Even more so if Travis and Hyam leave. There just isn't enough reliable Championship experience. Aside from that I think we massively lack in creativity, have no real goalscoring threat and no squad depth whatsoever.

If we stay up then fair enough, Ismael will have done well.

If we can take our chances, we can put the brummie to the sword. I'm going 3-0 Rovers.

They will be at least a couple of goals up before we even look like creating a chance.

It doesn't "have to" turn at all.

It could quite conceivably go from bad to worse.

I agree with that, I am just not sure how many of the current lot will be there in September,

That's when a relegation battle becomes a real concern.

It seems that Venkys/Pasha have decided upon a self imposed restriction on spending to make sure that Sheff Wednesday are not cut adrift at the bottom

We will need to create some chances first

We need 2 more teams to get hefty point deductions , to start thinking of survival ..

I agree, I think we expected a shakey start, with all the newcomers in the team, I've seen promising signs watching Rovers against Everton and Bradford, there were eight changes for the Bradford game, and we looked very nervous the first 15 minutes. The plus sign was Tavares had a good game and De Neve on target again. He didn't do much after his goal, but if he keeps sticking them in the net it's a plus sign. I think we'll turn the corner and gel as a team, but it might take another game or two.

They've had a tough few weeks in terms of figuring out who's who, who can play where, where do the strengths lie, who's going who's staying. Its a real cluster fuck that I wouldn't like to be amongst. I'd like to see them prove everyone wrong and win a few games to build some spirit

Yea I think it it will take longer to forge a complete unit but as I said do enough to stay afloat this season

I will never hope Rovers lose. I always want the team to play to win, put it’s best 11 on the pitch, & everybody play 110% until the final whistle.

Home league opener, I want to see all these things happen. But, reality tells me, there won’t be a lot of wins this season- I predicted single-digit wins earlier.

Im saying Rovers scrap & hustle, do everything in their power, only to eke out a 1-1 draw. It will be something, but not the encouragement we want/need right now.

People being honour by the club are Jack Walker, Ronnie Clayton, Bryan Douglas, Tony Parkes, Mike Newell, David Dunn and Tony Mowbray.

I'd rather have a delayed 150th anniversary celebration once venkys have fucked off even if it takes another 150 years

I'd replace Hedges with someone from the fox and hounds, hes had plenty of time at Ewood to improve.

So - 3 legends, 1 ex player, 1 ex academy graduate who turned out not bad and Tony Mowbray

Fuck me - why not give one to Myles while we are at it for ”that tackle” 🤬
