According to the enigmatic BRFCPrivy Travis is refusing to play. Could be true, could be false, or it could be the club trying to put the blame on Travis

Clear as day to me.

Heaving in brig with brummie fans, they will have more than us on today

Will they heck! Guess there'll be pushing 2o to 21k on today ( or there should be at a minimum)

We’ll look back in a few years at that team and think “oh my God. How poor was that team”.

Depends where we will be plying our trade. We might be saying " wow there were some good players in that squad" as we become a mid table League 2 side in transition lol

Kargbo starting against one of the strongest teams in the league. I look forward to people writing him off again when he struggles to get through their defence.

Well that's a very strange choice of captain.

They weren’t going to select potential contract rebels Hyam or Tronstad, so I can see the logic. Not sure if Todd’s got the personality for it, guess we’ll see

Cantwell was one of the few players last season who I actually felt played well under VI.

Quite telling that there's a gradual standoff occurring between the club/management and players that were on the senior players leadership team though.

Looking at that 11, the 3 most likely captains (based on them having the armband in the past) are Tronstad, Hyam & Hedges (he had it for the 2nd eleven in a pre season under JDT which I will admit is pushing it)

All 3 of those are in the last year of their contracts and Rovers looking to ship them out, so I suppose Cantwell is the next most senior player unless we gave the captaincy to a new signing

Terrifying

Not particularly worried about him not getting through their defence. However, their getting through our left-hand side might be an issue.

Hyam probably doesn't want the armband...only Tronstad would've been the other candidate.

Surprised he's gone with Kargbo from the off, but hopefully he can make more of an impact as a starter.

Hedges though... 🙄

How can Furlong be playing for WBA today when he was sent off against us?!

Served his suspension in cup in mid week

Suspensions in the Championship also carry over into the Carabao Cup.

And no doubt Rovers fans will get criticised for their poor support (without any sort of nuance).

And the Birmingham fans will sing that Blackburn is a shithole, despite being from the biggest shithole in the country.

Same as it ever was under these owners.
