Good half going by my expectations ahead of the game. I really like Alebiosu and don’t really miss Brittain to be honest. Thought Carter had an ok half as well all things considered. We need more firepower up top, but this seems to be the situation at most Championship clubs at the moment. Not really sure there will be any goals as this reeks of 0-0, but I guess subs 2nd half will play an important role (as always).

Here’s to Gudjohnssen coming on and bagging a couple! COYB!!

Not a disaster, but realistically not much to choose between two sides offering next to nothing in the final third. Give Yuki another 10-15 minutes then get the Icelandic on and see what he's all about.

He's a funny one is Cantwell.

He wants to be the creator, often drifting out to the left wing. However he's playing at the #10, which means there's nobody in the box - it's really hard to see where the goals are going to come from.

It's the pace for me RE Alebiosu - lets him make mistakes and recover. Brittain never got back once he was beaten. His crossing seems pretty good too. 

Think you definitely need a competent understudy for him though - he gets through so much work he's going to be burned out if you don't sub him a lot.

Pleasantly surprised by that first half. Some good football at times, some frustrating football at times.

Morishita showing promise, good strike that hit the bar. 

Hopefully Gudjohnsen gets some time, be good to see what he's about.

Decent half after a tough start to the game.

Wharton and Carter doing well at the back especially as they've not played in so long.

Taveres is just not doing it and puts us at risk way too many times with what should be a simple pass misplaced.

The rest are doing okay, always impressed with Alebiosu, Cantwell keeping possession well and moving play forwards, Tronstad playing well and driving forwards at times too. Need to take our chances now.

Actually didn't mind that first half at all.
Had the better chances and looked the better side.

I'd stick Gudjonssen and Kargbo on for O'Hashi and Hedges in the second half - some pace down the wing and some strength in attack.

There must be some unwritten rule in management "You've done sod all for 45 mins, but I'll waste 15 minutes in the second half giving you a chance to show something".

Get Ohashi off and get Gudjohnsen on.

New boy Morishita looks like he got an eye for goals

Alebiosu play ok, adjusting well to the Championship

Tavares looks very lightweight at the middle and quite frankly not good enough. Big problem in that midfield when  Trondstad leaves.

Defensive pairing looks ok, Wharton & Carter both look decent so far
