I truly believe they did not publish that to keep the harmony and we are about to see the gloves come off.

Given he’s now persona non grata he should have included the line ‘at date of publication, these funds do not appear to have been provided to the club’.

Although the let may not be what it once was... It's still the first port of call for legit rovers information for most rovers fans of my age and over

The idiots have massively underestimated the influence the let has and what a big traditional part of the club and town it is

There has been a long standing assumption that the shadow man is a Venky man.

To me this appears to be based not on anything concrete but rather a combination of the fact that he has been around the place throughout Venky ownership, that he originates from South Asia, and that he has a direct line to them.

None of the above actually mean he is a Venky man. It would be the natural and logical assumption that he is, but if we think outside the box maybe he isn't a Venky man at all, maybe he's representing other interested parties.

His Asian origins may just be coincidence, his 'direct line' to them may be a business arrangement for their management of Rovers rather than him being their dogsbody reporting back every now and again.

When we look at things from that angle whilst it may make some feel uncomfortable and might be suggested as implausible it is certainly possible and would stack up with some of the things we have seen.

If he was the 'broker' that got Venkys to the table, that they trust and always have done, and this is his project, things start to make more sense.

The installation of structures that compete with his little fiefdom - like Mowbray and Venus, Broughton and JDT, Waggott, all to varying degrees handed their own power independent of him - all swept aside. This is how he likes it - just as it was back in 2016/17 after Shaw, Myers and Bowyer had been removed.

Whose interests was Waggott representing and acting on? I am inclined to say the Indians, as he  was allowed to go out there with Mowbray. I don't think the shadow man has ever liked other people getting a direct line to India and he will stop it whenever he can.

bro...the only thing that makes sense is Suhail being the lynchpin ...proxy ownership is common in india business and political culture ...my guess is there's someone above the lynchpin and its not Vs ...Vs can't rid this project as SBI will call the instruments ....if my calculation is correct there's a rift in relationship and a relegation or promotion will push things over the line or some financial forensics investigative journo does an expose

Why would Venky's allow £250m worth of debt to be secured against their assets if they weren't the actual owners?

On the face of it, Pasha reports to Venky's but I think they are out of the loop on most things and that is fine with them. I am sure they had no involvement at all in Gestede turning up out of the blue, Adam Owen coming from Hibs, the 3.5 year deal for Ismael. and the signing of injured players?  Pasha has other people he listens to and puts self interest before everything else.

Would Venky's have turned down the opportunity to have Adidas promoting the sale of Rovers shirts around the world in favour of 'off the peg' Castore kits ? Who's benefitting from that ??

I think if the telegraph are hoping for a reconciliation they will be very careful in what they say personally I would be pleasantly surprised if there are exposé reports.

In the meantime, reduced travel commitments mean we can dig deeper into the stories you really want to hear about. There will be less politics to navigate and an even greater license to delve deeper into the storied past, present and future of Blackburn Rovers.

The key word to me in that sentence is “past”.

That’s a well worded threat.

Jacksons immediate next story is to tell us what we already know regarding the personal guarantee, but he hasn’t printed for 2 weeks for whatever reason.

Then they rebuff the claims from rovers second statement.

I think this is a reach. 'Storied past' suggests stuff that is more tied to the 150th anniversary

Why would “less politics to navigate give an even greater licence to delve deeper “ into the 150th anniversary?

I think the behaviour of Rovers through Pasha and Gestede is totally indefensible.

How any supporter can even remotely try to defend Rovers, Pasha and Gestede is, IMO, staggeringly beyond the pale.

IMO, as a club, we are now morally bankrupt.  I think Uncle Jack's legacy is in tatters.

Agree with this 100% Mercer.
In light of this I am wondering why the Coalition hasn’t taken the opportunity as representatives of the supporter base, to issue its own statement giving their view, of the clubs actions, and their wholehearted support of the Lancashire Telegraph?
Along with the pitch fiasco vs Ipswich is it not a great opportunity to express our views and highlight to the wider fanbase the damage that Venkys are doing to the club on an ongoing basis?

This is not a criticism of the Coalition but a genuine question as to why we / the Coalition are not using these types of situations to put the boot right into Venkys and their stooges?

Both the coalition and trust issued statements a couple of days ago

Where can we view these, Glen ? I’m a Trust Member and wholeheartedly support the aims and actions of the coalition but not seen anything on recent statements and so, perhaps they not getting the real circulation oxygen that is undoubtedly needed.

I am a Trust member and have not seen any Trust statement.  There has been nothing for 3 months.

The current mob running the club are so naive. The LT can do more to help them and to promote them, than any other organisation.
They should listen to what the LT are saying and work WITH them.

There's been 2 in the last 5 weeks or so. Glen's even posted one above your message 🤨
