Well you disagree with my post but I still by my post.

Its was clear penalty not given, I thought it was penalty in real time and I've seen a replay and its a clear penalty, if you don't think it was, I just give up with you. The Ref was piss poor again at this level.

No one has mentioned about fictious league table apart from yourself so maybe look at yourself here for coming up with this sort of BS.

I blame Karbgo for the game, he gave the ball away and then didn't track back

It's true, a lot happened after Gudjonson's mistake, but if he controls as he should do, the rest doesn't happen.

Probably our best chance led to a goal for Swansea.

In all seriousness though, a Swansea fan on Reddit has it sussed

Got away with one there. We were poor first half, much better after the subs and glad to see Sheehan has realised we have actual squad depth now. Quite funny to see Cantwell spend the final ten minutes incandescent and trying to get himself sent off after not getting that pen. Suppose it somewhat evens out some awful decisions at Millwall and Birmingham from our perspective, but very unfortunate for Blackburn. Will probably be a long season for them especially if decisions go against them like today and the Ipswich write-off. Fans also seemed very subdued, I know it's a tuesday night but the Venky's hoardings were the loudest thing in the stadium after Cantwell. He and Alebiosu looked a bit dangerous but no real threat from anyone else. And on the opposite end of the stick to us, it didn't seem like they had anyone half-decent to bring off the bench.

Again who the hell proof reads statements issued by the Rovers. In the one for the debacle on Tuesday, the first line reads that the game was played on Friday . Or have I just lost it ?

I feel for Season Ticket Holders who were duped into paying good Money for this shyte.

I cannot speak for everyone but people who I know who go were not 'duped.'

After 15 years of this Venky's misrule and shambles it is quite clear the direction the club is going.

All supporters need to unite to publicise this and, hopefully, get things to start changing!

I still don't think the Cantwell one was a penalty. I'm also sick to the back teeth of the lack of ownership of our problems and fans washing it away. Ref's don't score goals, neither do they concede them. They don't set the tactics, or the team up and they don't make transfers.

Over the course of a season the worst teams are near the bottom, it's nothing to do with luck. It's to do with performing in a manner that results in an inability to gather points. We are where we are because we've been crap for the majority of the games we've played this season, the result against Hull and the performance against Ipswich have been the exception not the norm. This is nothing new, we were also crap for the vast majority of the season from November onward last year. I can't be arsed doing it but I bet if we put together a league table from December 2024 to now it would make for pretty grim reading.

It's all a bit boring isn't it? The fans have no desire, the team has no desire (apart from maybe Cantwell and Tronstad who do look as though they play for the badge), the board certainly has no desire. It's verging on what's even the point in any of it?????

Tronstad s playing for his next badge.🥲

How true.

2 or 3 injuries and we will have a squad that is barely league one standard.

Imagine losing Cantwell and Alebiosu from the starting 11. Even if they avoid injury I bet we wouldn't turn down decent offers for either of them in January

Not a great spectacle last night, but I don't think we are quite as bad as some would say on here.

I noticed a stat on Rovers underperforming on XG on the screens before the game by about 3 goals, so I put this together (bored at work, XG means nothing I know).

We've been comfortably outperforming the opposition on XG recently. Yes, XG doesn't win you points, but perhaps indicative that we aren't as awful as som would suggest

Just had a look at XG on Flashscore for the Charlton drubbing.  They had Charlton at 1.47 and us on 0.55...

Spine of the team sold off.  Circa 1500 Championship appearances worth of experience removed and not replaced.  Cheap players from foreign leagues, or bang average ones from the UK shipped in - all of whom are a downgrade on what we had before, have no idea of the demands of this league and/or simply aren't up to them.  Report of a toxic atmosphere at the club.  Childish/amateur spats with the local press because they won't toe the party line.  A manager that has never gone beyond a year at previous clubs, doesn't seem to have a plan or a clear way of playing, and was probably only appointed in the first place because he was cheap and desperate for a job - and we're asking him to polish a turd.

This is just a shell of Blackburn Rovers these days, and all of the above is only pointing to one thing - the big 'R'.

Sorry, I transposed the numbers, you are quite correct

I presumed that Miroshita had picked up an injury yesterday to go off yesterday. He hadnt really got involved again but you can at least give him the ball without it bouncing off him like basically every other player bar Cantwell.

Apaprently it was just a tactical decision to bring on Kargbo. A real masterstroke of a decision from our poor manager.

With or without injuries, that starting 11 and squad in general is league one (at best). I'd argue some of the dross we put out there isn't even that level, Kargbo can't actually play football, he's fucking abysmal.

Don't even get me started on the likes of Tavares. Incredible how that guys a professional footballer.

Thing is it's results that win you points and it all starts from defence as Eustace demonstrated and you can get away with low XG if you can defend the point or the goal you do get.

That's gone out of the window again because mainly we've lost the 3 best defenders and just tried to plug the holes with no investment.

We've been there before as well.

It's not stats which tell us what sort of team we are---it's the League Table. And right now it tells us we are in deep trouble.

I never said it was or wasnt a penalty. Definitely looked a foul, not sure if it was in the box.

It was clear penalty all day long

But its this constant deflection of blame that I cant stomach. I dont come away from tonights game thinking about the referee, I come away with further concerns about how I see the season panning out with these players and this manager under this board and these dreadful owners.

Im going to ask you a question and I expect that you will do your usual routine of going off on random tangents. Ismael stands today with a record at Rovers having won 6, drawn 3 and lost 11. This season, he has won 2 and lost 6. He isnt the most pressing issue at the club but ill focus on him just for a moment.

Its comments on the game not deflection of blame like the ref was again appalling and where they find these refs is baffling.

second half we started the half with higher tempo, quick passing and movement we lacked all first half.

Yes

Yes

And also, how do you reflect on the summer window and how our squad is shaping up,

Not making any knee-jerk reactions after 2 defeat like many others or people who had vendetta(not you) against certain players signings here.

Some signings have hit the ground running and some haven't. I felt sorry for Gudjohnsen yesterday cos don't created enough chances for him or have enough players looking to get forward around him. We could have Shearer up front and he would struggle to score in this team. Yes Gudjohnsen should have done better then he did with that chance.

above the relegation places

On Kargbo, I remember last season after him making a couple of sub appearances, you deemed him a successful signing already and used him as an example of the merits of Gestede. How sadly wrong you was. Hes absolute dog shit.

Kargbo has some qualities I like but then others that frustrated you like hell.

Well you've just summed it up nicely!

Why the optimism then?
