I think they've both done okay in recent games. In combination with Alebiouso Morishita has been brilliant today.

Yeah I believe he’s a wing back and they’re playing him central. Have a look at the replies to their team sheet announcement on social media - their fans all said it pre-match.

Really impressive half - we look well suited to this shape.

I think Wharton has been excellent for the most part this season, no less tonight.

Felt Morishita was the weak point for most of that half; a few good moves broke down due to him.
But then he pops up with a moment of magic for the goal.

If we can do the same in the second half, a lot of credit has to go to the players and the manager - 3 in 3 against three decent sides.

Please don't collapse, boys...

Well played lads. We look a pain in the arse to play against, snapping into tackles, getting a foot in and hounding them in possession. Seem to be happy to clear our lines and keep it simple too which is great to see.

We've not served up a first half performance like that midweek for some time, if we can keep it up second half it would be quite something. As always away from home though the pressure will come, hopefully we can withstand it.

Agree really holding his corner they don't look comfortable running at him also cutting out plays and tracking back has been excellent
