Could be bizarre as to why we're going back for him - plus his age isn't great and doesn't fit the resale value. Quote

Is he coming to cover both striker and winger or are we after one more ? Yeah he will be a "two in one" deal I imagine. Not a chance this lot get two deals done before Monday, sceptical they get one over the line. 1 Quote

Torgeir Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Ismael: ""Situations happen, we were interested in a player then they got injured. All of a sudden, it made no sense for us to take an injured player so we move on." Pretty obvious that he's referring to Cleary, just forgot to mention that we didn't match Barnsleys valuation. 5 Quote
London blue Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Loving how VI says the reason we didn't follow up on Clearly was his injury and not the fact that we were only willing to pay 20% of their fee for him. Prick. 6 Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago This feels like resignation to our efforts on staying up , lack of urgency to address key areas of need. 2 strikers linked, neither of which are standout, sigh. are things finally coming to a head in the near future? Quote
Wegerleswiggle Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If we bring both of them in then I can only assume we are going back to 4-2-3-1 Quote
yellowsubmarine Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago What are the chances of us getting no one else through the door by the time the window closes. 🤭 2 Quote

Norbert Rassragr Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Ellis Simms? 😂 Absolutely no chance of that coming off. Whilst he is not always a starting player, he is still a vital part of the squad that is top of the league. Why move from a team that's at the top to a team that's determined to be in a relegation fight? He cost Coventry £8m and his wages would be fairly high for this division. Quote
Inferi Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 15 minutes ago, Torgeir said: Ismael: ""All of a sudden, it made no sense for us to take an injured player so we move on." Makes sense. Same reason we didn't go for Baradji...oh wait. He really thinks the fans are stupid. Just fuck off. 8 Quote
StHelensRover Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Wonder whether the 'bizarre' reference is because it's someone who plays for a local rival. Could end up with that donkey Barnes. Would be the ultimate insult and probably the funniest thing the dingles had ever seen. Edit - no one senior at the club knows anything about the club so they wouldn't see an issue with approaching that club for a player. There's no way we've put an offer in for Simms, that's as likely as Ronaldinho and Beckham were in 2010 Edited 1 hour ago by StHelensRover Quote

roverandout Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Dapo has scored 3 goals in his last 43 games. Perfect rovers signing Quote
DutchRover Posted 50 minutes ago Posted 50 minutes ago Not played for St Pauli really since October by look of it, so presumably they're happy to offload. Would've thought bundesliga wages are beyond us though. Quote
