If Hedges is out to the summer it is pointless giving him a number.

Then it would seem that Ribeiro and Kargbo are below third choice on the left so we are likely to get a Sigurdson situation with one or both of them.

Kargbo looks like he has lost his pace whilst Ribeiro still has a lot to offer.

Jorgensen is slightly different coming from a different country (I’m not defending the signing btw) different pace etc I think his movement has been good and I’d really like to see him flank either side with gudjohnsen. For me the next run of fixtures should give us a better idea of what he’s about if anything at all 

Yes, I like Jorgensen runs, quite intelligent. Doesn't seem particularly quick or strong or technical though. So i wonder how he beats a defender.

That said Gudjonsen looked a total passenger when he arrived, but as hes gone on his link up play and ability to compete with defenders have really improved. So all we can do is hope for something similar.

True, Gudjohnson looked off the pace to start with too and he turned it around and became very effective. Hopefully Jorgensen can do the same.

Anyone know where Henrickson is? Not been on the bench the last couple of games?

If we stay up and get a decent manager.  Big ifs I know then I can see jorgensen and gudjonson having a fruitful partnership next season

Ohashi’s willingness to run has made Gudjohnsen’s job easier. Is Jorgensen capable of the level of effort.

We don’t know really I’d like to see him on either side of gudjohnsen with Ohashi in the 10 role as it’s clear cantwell is way too much of a luxury player in the circumstances we find ourselves

They had to submit the 25 man squad last night

"Clubs must send in their final 25-man list to the EFL by 7pm on February 3rd. That can't be altered unless a team has vacant places, in which case free agents can be added."

If they filled  that then any free agents would have to be U21, which would make this your list to pick from (some of the 21 year olds may be unavailable depending upon when their birthdays fall)

He had a load of strapping on his leg last time we saw him (when he was soldiering on playing upfront against two big CBs), so I suspect he's being rested / is injured.

Ohashi can't pass, so how is he going to play in that role?

You're essentially asking for 4-4-2 - which is fine, but don't dress is up as 4-2-3-1 etc as Ohashi is incapable of playing as an AMC.

The EFL publish the lists within seven days of a window closing, whether the club will let us know sooner is anyone’s guess.

Never seen them play and know sweet FA about them but I bet they are good ens

Ah to be fair Joey, I think a lot of people could see Gudjonsen had the ability to link up play early doors. He was being asked to pursue the back line relentlessly and was just running himself into the ground.

Jorgensen is showing similar signs of promise for me.

If Kargbo is fit I’d have him in the 25 for the pure chaos his pace can cause. I’d have him ahead of De Neve but he’s in as he played last night.

I think if last night showed anything, it's that Forshaw has suddenly become a very important player for us (what a bloody state of events!).  Baradji has some abilty, but I don't like him next to Tronstad in midfield. He's very erratic and doesn't have the discipline to be a holding midfielder.  If Cantwell needs a break, I'd be tempted to play Baradji further forward and see if he can't cause a bit of chaos further up the field.

I have always felt Ohashi would work well as a 10, playing as more of a second striker like Szmodics did, remember he wasn't a particularly "creative" 10 like Ozil but a poacher running from deep. 

Ohashi's passing vision is fine, and his positioning is good. He also makes all the other forwards he plays with better through his pressing.

People are too harsh on him for being run ragged by Ismael with no support. If we played better as a unit, with a front four of Gudjohnson, Jorgenson on left, Ohashi 10 and Morishita on right, I think that would complement reasonably well, with Afolayan on a wing if Jorgenson struggles.

You wouldn't be able to tell we spent £3.5million (a lot of money for Rovers) on him. Has made no positive impact so far on the relegation battle.

If M.Gueye had put those performances in over the last few games he would have been rightly slated.

I think there’s a bit of something there. Tidy finish V Swansea and some lovely footwork to create a chance later on.

He needs to do a lot more but his block last night was worth 2 points

Yes Ohashi has one truly outstanding ability and that is to relentlessly press. To use him for anything else is a waste. 

We need to get a decent attacking setup without him and use him to close out games.

Harsh on Kargbo he's been out injured so hasn't been able to find form/fitness, potentially ousting the last link to Gueye as I know they were quite close.
