We know that Pasha and Gestede are the selection committee.

Why bother speculating?

We are going to get a totally garbage appointment.

We will be looking back whistfully to the halcyon days of Valerian Ismael and Championship football.

No matter what happens, the Ismael days were not halcyon, they were some of the worst, if not the worst, we've ever seen.

The crux of the matter is we have taken ourselves away from the pool of competence and are now fishing in the ocean of the incompetent. Until things above change, no ambitious or capable manager in their right mind would ever come to this club.

If we hire Coleman the club should call it a day and fold

Be delighted to be proven wrong but that appointment guarantees relegation in my opinion

You're not wrong.

The only consolation is that it's Elliot Jackson who doesn't know his arse from his elbow and the article only says he's "under consideration".

Even for us I can't believe there's any credence to that link other than the early betting odds.

Coleman has a career win percentage of 31.9%

536 matches and only 171 wins, his appointment would be a disaster!

Just to play devils advocate. If we had a win rate of 31.9% this season we would be 4-6 points better off right now

There is far worse to come my friend

Given that Adam Owen (and Steve Kean!) is the link here, I guess I have underestimated how utterly incompetent he is.

Coleman is League One relegation material.

If Coleman is genuinely "under consideration" then it's just further fuel to the fire which says we are run by inept, clueless clowns.

Either that or managed decline.

Honestly if it’s Coleman that’s me done, I’ll permanently ban myself here and just stop following altogether.

It’s not about him being a terrible manager (he is) but the connotations of it.

I can deal with losing, with relegation but the stench of corruption and rot is just too much to take.

If it does turn out to be Coleman, can you do the same to my account too please?

If it was Coleman it's the loudest clearest signal yet that it's another installation to run things for whoever is sat in the middle and not for the good of the club or fans.

Another stooge with the usual links and for many that would be it the final straw only a Kean or Coyle return could be worse.

Please don't say that ..i don't put it beyond Pasha for a Kean return ...i can't afford another tv at the moment

Chris Coleman. Best friend of Steve Kean. Used to come and visit him when he was Rovers manager and go out on the piss together. The man who recommended Kean to Allardyce.

If this happens they aren’t even trying to hide the corruption any more.

Coupled in with Gestede working with Kean a few times too right Miller?
