You seem to be doing your best to defend Mowbray’s record as rovers manager Gav. I honestly don’t know why. 5 years now and this has been his best, yet unless something happens now to leave us all dumbfounded, it’s ending in a massive disappointment. Why would any fan want to continue with him in charge next season? What do you honestly think next season holds and what have you seen to make you believe he’s the best man to get us promotion?

I don’t know Gav. Bumble’s earned the opportunity to say what he wants to say in my opinion. It just sounds to me that the removal of the other long term sky pundits has rattled him. It was a better commentary box with those guys IMO.

I don’t either. He brushes away any talk of it and tells the fans they expect too much. Mowbray is happy working with young players on the training ground and picking up an awful lot of money every week. He doesn’t want the expectations and sees that as unwanted pressure. Which is fine - somewhere else.

I don’t get what the hell is going on with English cricket. Dreadful performance followed by dreadful performance yet nothing happening about anything. Weimann might be a decent full back Gav, I don’t know. We are talking Bradley Johnson at centre forward here.

All managers make mistakes, pick the wrong team or have their favourites. That decision to play Johnson as a false number nine does leave me wondering about the entire mindset of Mowbray. I can’t really believe there’s another manager on earth that could have come up with that one. Far outstrips Hodsons idea of playing Christian Dailly on the wing.
