Can we rely on the owners to get involved now?

Tony’s post match presser should be reassuring

This looks like a relegation side.

No shape whatsoever. We’re all over the place.

Lancashire Telegraph's Rovers Coverage

I don’t see how that will do anything but accelerate the fall in demand for the newspaper. -
I’m not convinced Parky is tight enough to be a regular test bowler.

I fear you’re right. The batting is a shambles.

Premier League season 21/22

They are no different to any other club - apart from their catchment area. That’s the only difference. As you say, their fans deserve no more than anyone else’s fans and a hell of a lot less than others. If NUFC was situated in Bury, they would become Bury. -
Sky are bringing out a 4K TV that doesn’t need a satellite dish, a set top box or any cables other than the power cable. You can pay for it interest free over 48 months. I reckon it will appeal to a lot of people. https://www.whathifi.com/news/sky-glass-tv-confirmed-with-built-in-sky-q-and-dolby-atmos-no-box-no-dish-necessary https://www.sky.com/glass

It’s kept the dingles in the prem as well.

You need to look at the returns over the whole contract, then see how much of any sale fee is “reinvested”?
-
You’re certainly not on your own about the central mids going AWOL. surely when the teams struggling especially away from home, you would go to a solid 4-4-2 with all four midfielders working as one across the park wouldn’t you?

It’s a regular occurrence. The last game we could have conceded twice in the first two minutes. Not good enough.

Is this the Blackpool who were in league one last season, playing 4 years in charge Tony Mowbrays Blackburn Rovers? Really?

He’s a good striker simply because he’s got 3 goals Gav? and “I” don’t know how to judge a striker? Ill refrain on the Rhodes comparison. -

Gally needs selling to some other club and replacing with a better striker. -

Just a word on Gallagher. We’ve all seen players have bad games - it happens all the time. It’s usually down to bad decision making, not working hard enough, they’re just too slow, they couldn’t hit a barn door from ten yards, being played out of position or a myriad of reasons. They can all between them trap a ball though. We can’t ever rely on Gallagher showing even the basic fundamentals required of a footballer. -

There’s a lot to work on. so, so easy for Huddersfield to score three goals. There’s a lot of youngsters in the rovers side and that inevitably means a lack of game time and a lack of nous. Old heads are invaluable and that’s what we’re missing IMO. A Couple of players that can slow things down a little when the game needs it, along with someone on the field that can help the lads around him and particularly behind him keep their shape when WE are attacking. -
No arguments from me there.

The big prize was the country championship. This feels like the 3rd/4th place play off. As you say cricket in this country going into October is just too far.
-
Harrington resting players this morning because he says, they’ll be needed fully refreshed for the singles. If we don’t win a lot of games today Sunday won’t matter. USA going with same pairings as yesterday.
-
To be honest, I think it’s all over now. I can’t see how we can possibly overcome this deficit.

Europe being booed onto first tee. Not great, eh?
