  1. Thought you would be. As Arbitro said, your letter would have played its part. Well done Simon.
  2. Well done to whoever made this decision. Hopefully there’s been a rethink of the people behind the decision to sell off a large part of it in the first place.

  4. I think what he’s saying, or trying to say is that if you concentrate first and foremost on performances, the results will follow. Doing it the other way round won’t work He’s saying we are playing really well and we are not far off getting the results to match. Thing is Tony, you’ve had over four years and look at what’s actually happening on the pitch. Yes, some nice passing out from the back and at times good movement. We never, ever look like scoring or winning a game though. You have got this particular approach very badly wrong - and this squad - the squad you’ve built over four years - don’t have it in them to change anything. It’s time to completely rebuild IMO, starting with a new manager, because we’re not as close to being successful and challenging the top six as you think we are. Time to get someone else in with fresh ideas about how to win games and challenge for the play offs.

  6. It was from a quote that you quoted. It showed up under your name. Sorry about that.
  7. Yeah, right. Nowadays, in Mowbrays world results shouldn’t matter to the owners or the manager. Would that be because he can’t get results? Hes turned into a wind up merchant of Kean proportions. and while I’m at it, - all this talk from him lately about fans at Ewood expecting too much. Fans at Rovers have been spoilt with the PL days he’s saying quite often now. Well, yes, we were spoilt. Just so you know Tony a lot of those fans have been around Ewood Park for a long, long time. Some of them 70 years +. They’ve seen far more football than you have, they’ve seen a hell of a lot of managers come and go in that time. They know a good manager and they know a bad manager. They also know a bullshitter when they see one. Youre currently falling into one of the worst managers and biggest bullshitters they’ve seen.
  8. That’s an excellent article from Sharpe and the LT, both of whom have been criticised by me and a lot of other fans on here. If Venkys read these articles, it spells out exactly what the situation is. The only thing it doesn’t say, is that the situation whereby nobody at the club seems to appreciate what’s happening here, should tell them that the problems run deeper than the manager. Surely it’s the job of the CEO to keep the club focussed on the ultimate goal of getting out of this league via the top end. It’s his job to be proactive on the owners behalf - and from here he looks to be failing badly. I doubt very much that the owners read these threads, but if they do then take a look at the bigger picture.
  9. Didn’t he say last season that we can’t expect to compete with Preston North End? we still can’t and they are worse now. How long before we can compete with the mighty PNE - 3 years, 4 years or never?
  10. I reckon he’ll go over the weekend. He has NOWHERE to hide.
  11. It will take an awfully hard face to sit this one out. He’s getting towards Keans level now.
  12. Sherwood says Bournemouth are absolutely coasting through the game and rovers are having to work hard to keep up. Mowbray says we’re only losing 1-0 and we’ve created loads,
  13. To be honest, I reckon any kind of petition originating from one source, in this case BRFCS could be counterproductive. Ideally voices from all sections of supporters and supporters groups - without any obvious foundation would be more productive with the club.
  14. If we changed the manager we could end up like Bolton or Wigan? Well if we changed manager we could finish up like any of the other top six in the Championship as well couldn’t we? Which do they want?
  15. I was there. Riverside for me.
  16. All those games we lost 1-0. If you keep a clean sheet, you don’t lose. and out of all those, how many more might the opposition have scored? Plenty in my view.
  17. Mowbray would have everybody believe that this season has been a fresh start. He says he’s finally able to play a style of football that he’s wanted to play but couldn’t because of the structure of the squad. Danny Graham moving on was one of the big factors in that. He wants to play a fast, passing game that’s built from the back. The reality in my opinion is that the team are playing the way they are because he has no other options. When you don’t have a striker worth the name, or a striker like Shefki Kuqi who could come on and rough the opponents up a bit or give them something else to think about - like a threat in the air, when you don’t have a wide man capable of getting behind the full back, you have no option other than pass, pass pass. When every player in the squad offers exactly the same as the player he’s replacing, you can’t change anything. You can only pass, pass, pass. This season isn’t a fresh start with a new and better style of playing as he would have us believe, it’s the result of his 4 year tenure.
  18. Time to go before he does any more damage.
  19. It has Al. You weren’t that well at one point, hope you’re okay.
  20. Which one of the Raos is knowledgeable enough to successfully run an English football club? Seriously which one?
  21. I mentioned a petition at one point, but with Rev’s excellent letter and a good number of rovers fans visibly behind it, this would be even better. No guarantees that it will change anything of course, but most CEO’s with genuine concern for the fans and their views, it would cause them to think again.
  22. In my opinion Al, the more sigs the better.
  23. The text that came with it said it was in Blackburn.
