It must be horrible being as old as them two!!!
-
We are, but imagine if we had have been a touch more adventurous V PNE in the second half and maybe not switched off in the last minute at Plymouth. A touch greedy perhaps, but those extra 3 points would make very impressive reading, right now.
-
You would have to hope he changes that philosophy, as it isn’t working. Get the away form right and we would be right up there, despite the limitations. So far 3 points on the road from 6 games, is very poor. Give it a go and try for the win, as I’m sure one win from 6 is achievable with that tactic, which is effectively where we are right now.

There is a way to make him more effective….,,,,, Sell him to Ipswich.
-
The replacement for Allardyce was stupid, but I don’t think he was cheap.
-
I think that’s why he did his best to claim the goal that was eventually credited to Dolan.
-
I have to admit, I was expecting them to be better, as their results at home, have been good.
-
I think I would have been too, it this was Rovers.
-
Plymouth fans were booing at 0-3.
-
That Ipswich stat, highlights once again, how unbalanced the premier league is.
-
A very disappointing result especially to lose to a contentious decision. Overall, one of the better away performances and had either the Hyam, or Hedges chance been taken, I am convinced we would have won. To sum the ref up and maybe understand a bit more about his understanding of the game and the rules, watch the match back and see how many yellow cards should really have been given. Cantwell looked baffled at his and to say 9 were given, you would think it had been a blood bath.

Hi Philip, There is this, which has been posted on here before, but nothing recent. It remains to be seen if anything comes of the new court date, as another adjournment and a further kicking down the road of said can, will surely create further unrest and speculation. It’s been lack lustre, but we have managed to get away with a couple of shaky moments at the back. We look dangerous with Cantwell on the ball, in particular when he switches to the right. We could easily sneak this and wouldn’t be too surprised to see JRC hit the target. He’s had the two best chances and has teamed up well with Cantwell twice.
-
It’s a fair point and I hope he has learned his lesson from it. He was a fish out of water at full back.

Why not start with our best attacking options and go all out for a couple of goals. The best form of defence is attack and although, I understand the need for caution in some fixtures, surely the last two were not those that we needed to be as cautious as we were. Let the opposition worry about us, not the other way round. -

I took my Grandson to his first match when he was six. He lives and goes school in Preston, so it was important to make sure he became a Rovers fan, which he now is. We went in Jack’s Kitchen and into the Jack Walker stand for the match. We were very happy with that. I was proud to be there with my son too, so three generations of Rovers fans at the match together. Whatever part of the ground you choose I’m sure you will both enjoy it and hope it’s one of many for you both. PS we did our first away game last year when he was 9. Stoke away in early December. He still talks about it now and the 0-3 score line, helped it become a great first away trip together. -
Is that FFP up the swannythen?

I suppose you could take some comfort in this. Would everyone on here take 15 points from the next 9 games right now? For what it’s worth, I have serious doubts about Eustace, but so far this season, he has out performed based on results and points, in my opinion. -

Coventry 3 Rovers 0 tells you that predicting results based on the current league table, is a folly. I spoke to my Burnley supporting business partner yesterday, who said Plymouth gave a good account of themselves on Tuesday and thinks, we are in for a tough game. I would take a point now. -

As always in the championship, he had one look at it. I was watching it on TV and found it hard to judge, first time around. The reaction of our players made me convinced the red was coming, but it goes to show what a hard task it is to get things right.
-
I thought it was a red, but I’m sure Arbitro will clear it up. Happy that it was mind, as that gave us the impetus to start the second half strong and win a he match.

There are routine saves and good saves, in almost every game. When I pass back is miss kicked by the goal keeper and it rolls into the net, that's an error and not a bad save and as we all know this has happened to Pears.
