  1. Dunny returns against the pie eaters?? How poetic is that, perhaps Dunny has it circled on his calendar.
  2. From where I sit I am afraid Gally's days with us are numbered. I don't know if he is a poor as some people say, I don't think he is, though he looks totally devoid of any confidence right now, or Hughes just doesn't rate him/his style/ his work ethic. Matty Derbyshire on the other hand seems to be quite in favour with MH and seems the one most likely to make it. He has made slow steady progress through the ranks. If he can bag a goal or two he may well be on his way to becoming a lot more regular. I have'nt seen but a few minutes of him, I'd like to see more. PS, here we go again Rev, it looks like I am stalking you again HEh Heh, I'm not.
  3. Hear Hear, couldn't agree more. You'll see our performances improve as a team also. I sort of hope someone else comes in and pips Liverpool to his signature.
  4. You are starting to sound like a Dingle now abbey, the stadium only holds 63,000 for Cardinals games but it is expandable to 73, 000 for Super Bowls and big College Bowl games. Cards are actually often outnumbered by the away fans since just about everyone in Phoenix is from somewhere else. Dallas and Da Bears are the big ones
  5. Born is the King of Ewood Park, I used to love that song when the fans were in full voice, aah the memories.
  6. Given Lucas' track record of leg breaking perhaps the scousers will throw in some extra cash for him not to play heh heh, may just save a Liverpool player 6 or 8 weeks in the treatment room.
  7. Here's some advice for you tcj, it goes like this. Yer family?? Sod off I'm going the footy. That's pretty much it.
  8. One of them under the watchful eye of Graeme "Hamstring" Souness. Also at Brum, during Dunny's time there, did they not suffer a rash of Hamstring injuries too. Perhaps it's as much poor training regimens than anything else.
  9. I heard somewhere that Charlton said there will be no more managerial changes this season.
  10. allan does have a point. I keep the link in my favourites though, thanks. On the subject of Boro, I thought they played rather well for periods last night.
  11. Well that's popped my bubble
  12. Why would Andy Gray do that?? Does he phone the Ref every time twinkle toes Ronaldo doesn't get booked for a perceived dive? Very good point there.
  13. Were the commentators openly dissing Wigan for lack of support like they do us. In the article Colin psted the fella makes similar points to some of my views I had aired when it comes to the young uns. The fact they do not want to be associated with average (for want of a better word) teams. They can't handle the mickey take from their peers so they opt for the teams that win. A cause of ours not helped by the constant stream of negativity we get in the media, commentators etc. I'm glad he saw to make that point it is a big one IMHO
  14. What roller coaster ride emotionally. Whatching the first half I was really regretting my stance of saying we'll be alright, we're not going down because finally I was becoming conviced we were doomed. Very lethargic, no fight, no hustle the heads looked to be dropping and in all honesty I thought we were beaten by half time. Even more ###### off a McCarthy for not moving to the ball, defenders constantly nip round him and take the ball while he waits for it to get to him. Same in the air doesn't bother. Second half was much better, I was just lamenting the fact that yet again the official, Poll had a good game I thought so linesman, had cost us two points when Bentley smacked in the winner. Two of Benni's offsides were but the second he was on side. What ever happened to attacker getting the benefit of doubt and daylight between the defender and attacker. As I mentioned I thought Poll was about the best ref I've seen for us, others would have for sure yellowed McCarthy's dive in the box and perhaps Pedersens high foot Happy boy today. Poor dingles, lost a 2 goal lead to a supposedly very ordinary Sunderland side. Shame
  15. No, he appreciates them, he gives them special little titles like , losers, stupid and no marks. So if Stanley make the Prem you'll stop going on them. Bit like the clarrots, for years they have bad mouthed the prem , this year it looks like they can make a push for it and it's the "promised land" all of a sudden. And don't give me any crap about stanley, I was at the Formby game and followed 'em home and away in the Lancashire combination. Lived a couple of hundred yards away. When did you start going on then, just out of curiosity.
  16. I'm referring more to to PrimaDunna's attitude when he's getting his balls busted in training.
  17. Fox Soccer Channel, 12:15 pm Arizona time. Same day delay, so if you don't want to know the score stay away from the 'puter
  18. I don't think he can hack it anymore, if he was an asset to Brum why would they let him go cheap and to us of all people. I have my doubts, how do we know he will get along with sparky? How will he ract at Sparky's training regimen? Can he even handle it. Low fee and pay per play is the only saving grace, just in case he does make it.
  19. Good read that Royal. You seem like a decent bunch. Hope for a good game and a Rovers win as it's on telly over here and I am sick of seeing us losing every time we're on. Buggars up my whole day.
  20. You a ref or summat, you're always defending them.
  21. Man oh man we are a cynical bunch us Rovers fans.
  22. Morientes did not exactly set the Prem alight either, doing good now though in he.
  23. Hey, we all do stupid things as a kid, but we usually get older, wiser and see the error of our ways
  24. It's really getting quite old, from the refs, the media and the pundits. I saw the highlights of Pedersons goal against the Geordies, what a cracker I thought the commentators were quite ho hum about it. Now I listen to the Commentary on the Spurs goals and the bloke was going effing nuts about what a great goal, with every one. Why can European officials manage to ref us in a reasonably fair manner but in the Prem we get all this borderline/phantom stuff called against us. I'm not paranoid am I? I'm not fancying ANY of those, I was hoping for something abit "sexier"
