Sheringham was good in the air I thought - remember hims coring some beauts. You'll enjoy this one in particular - though I remember him scoring much better: And on further research, Sheringham scored 35 of his 146 premier league goals with his head. Not too shabby if you ask me.

Oh yes, I forgot, it was ME that suggested it last week! Thanks for reminding me ?

At the minimum I would expect one of either Evans and Smallwood in the team - just never both of them please. Ideally i would like Travis and Reed as a partnership going forward but thats unlikely to happen now that the Ginja Ninja has gone back home so my second choice right now would be Rodwell and Travis.

Lenihan being captain is further clarification that TM reads these boards

I know DG and Dack are competing for top scorer but we really should be putting BB up front for the remainder of the season to see if he can build on this.
-
Cannot see us getting anything out of it - this is their moment. They will want it far more than we do but if we do manage to snatch anything from it, it would be an excellent result.

Really is a no-brainer for me. As long as he accepts his position is CM first and foremost but cover for CB when needed as well.

Really don't see what all the fuss is about her. -
If Leeds dont make top two - cannot see them winning via the playoffs.

Good result - three on the trot. Have to give credit where its due as we've gone to two higher placed teams and won whilst also taking a win at home against Mighty Frank Lampards Derby County. Was a little annoyed with no youngsters on the bench after what he has been saying all week - so hoping we get to see some against Bolton seeing as they're already down.

Champions League 2018-2019

Imagine it happening in a final, or in a title clinching match where the team and fans are deliriously celebrating only to be told five minutes later that VAR reviewed it and you're no longer the league champions. -
Champions League 2018-2019

That Pep clips shows everything that is wrong with VAR. It was an epic match and the whole VAR aspect ruined what would have been a massive moment for most fans. To be in pure euphoria for so many minutes which then turns to despair (or vice versa btw) after such a long wait just takes away from the moments and the events. With just a ref if its either given or not pretty much on the spot - yes they get it wrong but thats what football has been about since year dot. People always scrutinized referee decisions and VAR is meant to do away with that by making the correct decision each time - except even VAR decisions are getting scrutinized anyway. -
Tony's Transfer Record Part 2
JacknOry replied to Blue blood's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Thats whats quite odd. he has a good eye in the main for attacking flair, Dack, Rothwell, Chapman but has used the latter two as much as he should have done in my opinion. Also, being a CB (and a very solid one at that) as a player, its also odd how he doesnt seem able to spot a defender or indeed set up a defense. -
Between DG and him for me with DG being my choice for POTS but mainly because Reed has been played out of position most of the time while DG has always played in his preferred position and been consistent there.

Liam Feeney Alex Baptiste Paul Warhurst

If there was ever any chance of Reed coming back - there isn't now. Don't know why he had to put the boot in on him when the likes of Smallwood, Evans, Mulgrew and Bennett never get that treatment. Sure, he might have had a few games where he wasn't at his best but they were far fewer than those of the above. Even when he wasn't at his best he was still better than most on the pitch and most of the time he was played out of position. Watch him get snapped up by a promotion hopeful next season and flourish.

Who can forget that kit lol -
As Blueboy pointed out above with the "Against all odds", and now with your "has achieved in adversity", I think you're being a little hyperbolic. He has been backed far more than most managers before him under the Venky reign. No players have been sold underneath him and he was able to keep his best players and actually 'sign' some in L1 for actual money. We spent more than anyone else in L1 and have spent circa 10 million for his first season back in the Championship - I really do not see that as adversity or against the odds. We're in the top 10 on net spend in the division this season. Admittedly, it may be TM and his integrity that has persuaded the V's to get behind him but to suggest that he is in the same boat as some of his predecessors is just wrong. He has it better than practically all managers before him under this lot post-bald-headed prat. People have concerns with his recruitment which as been quite poor in general - especially spunking 7 million on a rarely used substitute when all of sundry could see that we needed a regular starter/competition for DG and some major work on the defense. His tactics and negative lineups are another concern. Its amazing that once he finally abandoned the Smallwood/Evans partnership in midfield we broke out of the 'worst run any manager has had points wise under the Venky's' and started winning matches again. This summer is massive in terms of recruitment but i'm not confident we will get the surgery that we need.

Are you sure on that? Not arguing, just wondering if you have actually seen it somewhere that they didnt want to bring him back? It could have been that they did but having being made to play RB all season, he didnt want to go back.

Michael I have been stopped from posting this by moderators. was hardly a shining example of physicality. OMG - You the the Michael i mean - scored against argentina and makes pointless football quotes.

he wont be short of options whether going back out on loan or as a permanent transfer - just don't see it being us with the way he has been shunted all over the shop.
