  1. All 5 subs at once. Someone please put the desperate old fool out of his misery.
  2. Such a soft goal to concede, really poor. Kaminski culpable for both goals today.
  3. And they usually lie down facing in the opposite direction to the action.
  4. Such a soft goal to concede. Poor from Kaminski and from the wall.
  5. So am I which is rather strange as I have no idea who he is and have never interacted with him before.
  6. I remember reading somewhere about 10 years ago now that the BBC had already filmed Tony Blair's obituary.
  7. Why waste decent money on Shankland who at best is an average League 1 striker when we could go out and get a proven Championship goal scorer in Jordan Rhodes on a free transfer. Disgraceful one of the few assets the club has that could fetch a decent sum of money and we are losing him for nothing all because the manager clearly has vendetta against him.
  8. Down here he'd be an average League 1 striker at best.
  9. I suggested him the other day. He's certainly doing a very impressive job at Blackpool and whereas some managers get jobs in higher leagues and seemed daunted by it, it seems unlikely that he would be given his previous role at Liverpool.
  10. Each time he speaks the more I despise the man. He is getting very close to reaching Kean level's of dislike for me now.
  11. How anyone could advocate a new contract for Bell is beyond me. Or Johnson for that matter the bloke has looked unfit and uninterested (bar a few games) ever since he turned up. The only 3 who even warrant consideration for new deals are Nyambe, Rothwell and JRC. Even then though the only one I'd be really sorry to see go is Nyambe.
  12. Something that Mowbray's backers like to say is that he has turned the club around but from what I can see the same problems remain that were here when he took over. We still have disinterested owners (not his fault granted), when Mowbray goes we will again be without a CEO as I don't see Waggott staying long after Mowbray, we have no football brain at boardroom level (which has given Mowbray a completely free reigned to do anything with no question asked), we have half a squad out of contract in the summer and very few assets to sell on. Behind the scenes the club is rotten and needs a complete revamp. Get rid of Mowbray, Waggott, Venus and Pasha. Get in a Director of Football (and put him on the board) who is in charge of overseeing football operations at boardroom level and also responsible for recruiting a new manager and his coaching staff. Get in a CEO by doing a proper interviewing process (although who is doing the interviewing is another worrying question) and appoint someone with no connections to anyone at the club. Do that and then we might resemble a proper football club. But that is one heck of a challenge to do over 1 summer especially with the massive squad overhaul we are likely to see and it is also a damning indictment of the owners, Mowbray, Waggott, Venus, Pasha that all this needs to be done immediately. This is what happens when a manager basically gets a free reign for 4 years and it must never be allowed to happen again.
  13. Sheffield Wednesday look to be heading for 3 points, 3-0 up at home to Cardiff. If they hadn't have been deducted 6 points then we would now be only 5 points clear of the drop and all the sides below us apart from Derby have at least 1 game in hand.
  14. We have incredibly sleepwalked into a relegation battle. We should still just about have enough to stay up but it is no certainty, if Rotherham can win a couple of their games in hand and get a bit of momentum then you really do fear the worst as you wouldn't fancy us to get anything against sides like Rotherham who are fighting for their lives. Which leaves you wondering where our next point is coming from. We are certainly very fortunate that Sheffield Wednesday got a 6 point deduction otherwise we would be in even deeper trouble.
  15. Just 5 places higher in the table now than when he took over from Coyle, when you consider the funds he has had and the fact he has not had to sell any key player then for me he is just as bad as Kean and Coyle.
  16. Downing and Bennett on good to see Tony looking towards the future.
  17. I think after this disastrous season and the massive turnover of players that we are going to see in the summer that barring a miracle we are at least 2 seasons away from promotion. I think we need to be looking for a younger up and coming developing manager who if given time can implement a style and build a team capable of promotion. Rather than the scatter gun approach of just signing players who don't fit the system and constantly changing what we are trying to do. Neil Critchley at Blackpool is someone who is impressing me not spent much money and up in the play offs, his one signing made for a substantial fee in Yates was signed for a couple hundred thousand and he would now fetch 7 figures. He also has experience working at Liverpool and has picked up players on frees who he will have seen when working with the youth team there.
  18. Brentford 1-0 down at Huddersfield thanks to another clanger from Raya. Getting rid of him is about the only decision Tony has managed to get right in the last 2 years.
  19. You have to give it to him not only is he content with disrespecting Blackburn Rovers week in week out but this week he has decided to disrespect Shrewsbury and Wycombe as well. The deluded fool really does have some sized ego on him.
  20. Never once in 4 years here has he taken a shred of responsibility for a bad result, it's always excuse after excuse with him. He's right if we could turn 1-0 defeats into 1-0 wins we would be higher up the table but never in his managerial career has he managed sides who have been able to grind out 1-0 wins regularly.
  21. A new low and the longer he stays the lower we will sink.
  22. Good to see Tony looking to the future again and bringing Downing on.
