  1. Not sure if correct topic but... Fulham away- 1230 KO and £35 a ticket. Another potential good away following killed there!
  2. £20 would have made it more attractive. As Matty says though, there's never a huge uptake in these. They would have been better doing either game £10 in all areas.
  3. Now if you had read the thread from the start you would have found that out a lot sooner 😉 We got four adults for this and just split the price accordingly, £16.50 each instead of £23. Not a huge saving but all helps.
  4. I personally think Kenny wanted to go out while on top, he actually wanted to leave during the title winning season to go back to Liverpool i believe? Also Harford wasn't the right man to carry on the success, if Kenny was to step aside i don't think his right hand man was the one to take the club to another level. Not strengthening the squad when in that position when we could probably have had our pick of players was also a huge part of the failing. A quality player in each central position would have set us up to challenge and possibly win another title in the next season or two. I remember at the time thinking Southgate and Ferdinand would have been great signings. Whilst it was an amazing time and i'm so glad to have witnessed it, we could have so much more. There is no reason why we couldn't have dominated the mid to late 90's before all the oil money started coming into the game.
  5. No doubt they will have a new manager "bounce" by the time we play them too.
  6. I dunno, this sort of thing hasn't gone in our favour recently. vs Huddersfield at Ewood we had an extra 24 hours recovery and preparation time and we never looked like breaking them down outside the first 10 minutes. vs Hull again we had an extra 24 hours recovery and preparation time and well, we saw what happened there. vs Luton they played Saturday, Tuesday compared to our one game on the Monday night, but again we didn't look any sharper than them. Although we were well up for the battle.
  7. I think considering how late in the window it is, whoever these are have absolutely no chance of happening.
  8. Yeah he is. So considering he won't be back until April, there is room for another loan should we want too.
  9. Have as many loans as we want. Only 5 can be in the matchday 18 though.
  10. I think Rothwell staying puts an end to any in comings apart from the lad on loan to be honest.
  11. Covering all basis Bournemouth. I think we'll only get Giles in, but we're still a midfielder and striker away from being able to stay the distance for the top 2 for me.
  12. Imagine after all this with Rothwell it's Mowbray who buggers off just after deadline day 😂
  13. Something positive to deflect away from the Rothwell saga, that's why it's been announced today.
  14. That Preston game was originally meant to be a Sunday lunchtime in March, but got postponed because we made it to the FA Cup Quarter finals.
  15. I'm not sure prem clubs will be beating his door down to be honest. Could see a relegated club taking him if he stays until the summer. I think whatever happens in the summer with Rovers, he won't be here next season.
  16. Season ticket holders can buy an additional ticket for a tenner. Hopefully boost numbers a bit, shame it's not on the Saturday would have been a great following.
  17. I think it was naivety from the ticket office. They probably saw this game like a Bournemouth one, just after Christmas, fair distance etc. Wont have crossed there minds that we have only played there once in the last 40 years where fans have been allowed and a lot would want to tick the ground off.
  18. No. Obviously if we go up then he will stay. If we don't though, do we go on another "journey" with him or do we try start afresh considering that we have a load of out of contract players, and that we'll probably cash in on Diaz and Kaminski? I'd probably lean to the latter.
  19. Yeah I remember in 2000-2001 we made the Huddersfield and Sheffield Utd games in the run in £10 & £5 in all areas. The Huddersfield game got nearly 30k in, while the Sheff Utd which was midweek got over 25k on. Different times obviously, but I think the QPR game is perfect for a £10 ticket game, then maybe do something with the Bournemouth one if we're still in the run in.
  20. Cold hard cash is the only reason. I imagine Bournemouth would more than double his wages now without thinking about it. I agree though, even for that it would be stupid, if he plays like he has in the last 18 games and we go up, i'm sure there will be a few vying for his services at more money than Bournemouth would pay him now.
  21. See I don't think they would be interested If they went up and we didn't.
