I don't think you go to the trouble of making bids without knowing if the player is interested or not. It's not football manager where you just go and bid for anyone you fancy, months of work goes into these sorts of things before you actually make a bid for someone.

The next game against QPR is crucial. A defeat will obviously cut the gap to 6 points, its also Huddersfield/Sheff Wed that weekend. I still hope there will be enough bad teams around us to save us.

Lose to them in our next league game and I will start to get concerned. Huddersfield, Stoke and Milwall are all dreadful too though.

Season tickets are a tough enough sell anyway for next season with the new TV deal kicking in and 5 championship games moving for TV every weekend. Add in the price, which let's be honest isn't going down, the terrible home record, venkys nonsense, a good portion of fans getting sick of JDT etc etc and we could be looking at less than 7k again.

I imagine it will be the same dull line up with Moran and Sigursson out wide. Never thought I would say it, and it's a damming indication of where we are but I would actually like to see Gallagher back on the right hand side with Semir up top. At least he can get up and down the pitch and is a bit of a presence out there. Ideally it wouldn't happen, but if the alternatives are Moran and Markandey then I would go for it.
