  1. ‘Communication’ is always a red herring for me. I’d be happy to hear fuck all from any of them as long as they ran/owned the club in a competent fashion.
  2. We’ve sold this out the last couple of times, so a poster the other week was hoping he had a chance for a ticket… yeah, no problem there this time.
  3. But then in the same era BB was a ‘club signing’ not TM’s. ‘Models’ and strategies that get ripped up year to year. An incoherent mess like it’s been since day 1.
  4. This regime just seems to ‘turn’ whatever person joins it at a senior level.
  5. The Pears story was on the surface one of the most ridiculous things you could ever read… yet modern football being the joke that it is you honestly could see it happening
  6. The Coar thing is sad in a way, having him front and centre in the padded seats every week presumably as some kind of link to the Jack (and pre-Jack) club, like this disgraceful regime has any kind of continuity to the club of Walker and Williams or to Fox and Bancroft.
  7. For an adult and an over 12 here behind the goal - almost 500 quid… be pushing 600 by August.
  8. Why was this guy given a longer contract than any manager we’ve had under this regime?
  9. You may think it’s for that, and that’s great. The regime and their social media plants will spin it quite differently - don’t give them that opportunity.
  10. Need to be careful with events like that. Tonight may be the lowest home turnout for a league game in donkeys years, ergo you aren’t getting too many folk at the statue either - so easy pickings for the likes of Suhail to paint it as a minority griping.
  11. WATR were making small, incremental progress. But we needed Glen’s bazooka to break into the mainstream with the fanbase when it comes to exposing the rottenness of this regime As GM himself says, there’s a place for all groups.
  12. Technically a very good footballer, but a bit like Dolan (obviously JR’s the better player) he’s never improved, ergo he’ll spend his career outside the top flight. Still you can make plenty of dosh doing that these days - the name in the username above played in the wrong era!
  13. Fair enough to me, obviously played at Anchor Ground, saves on those operating costs they’re worried about…
  14. You just said managers shouldn’t just accept criticism and should give some back to the fans, so is Ismael in his rights to have a go/show no appreciation at our fans?
  15. The ‘football board’, how are they working out?
  16. ‘Hate filled atmosphere’… few hundred folk chanting about off the pitch stuff. Won’t somebody think of the children players!
  17. In more important matters… what the bloody hell ever happened to Stuart?
  18. So managers are fine to show dissent to their supporters who travel long distances and pay good money? So I take it Ismael was right to ignore the away support and walk straight down the tunnel at Portsmouth then?
  19. Maybe they’ll use the occasion to have the naming ceremony of the Tony Parkes Riverside too…
  20. A ‘new, improved deal ’ wasn’t an issue for the CEO himself…
  21. Amazing you are still banging the drum that he purely went for a pay rise.
  22. People are having a discussion about how protests are received at other clubs. Seems relevant to me. Like the transfer thread, if someone has something specific about protests at BRFC they’ll post them.
  23. They have the highest match day revenue in the Premier League, so to be 14th is a huge failure, not sure how it can be painted as anything else.
  24. So many echoes of 2011/2012, thirteen years on and straight back to the same playbook for a weak and nasty regime.
