For all the slagging off it gets, this thread is a aood example of how this forum is actually a very fair minded, welcoming place for a good debate. Just imagine a Rovers fan being allowed to do the match preview on UTC or PNE-Online… and if they somehow did, how much abuse they’d get!

Yes, if we stay up at the top. Just like last season saw walk ons double as we charged up the table.

Winning games and being at the top of league tables is what increases crowds, not ‘good football’, however that is quantified.

Strange/easy life being a second choice keeper in the modern, reserve team free game. If no injury to the main man, they literally never play a minute of a football match for months on end (many months if knocked out of cups early). Bit of training through the week, then sit on the bench with your gloves on on a match day. Rinse and repeat…
