  1. Noticed the official Facebook account is posting a random collection of stuff you can (still) get in the shop. I’ve seen socks and I’ve seen shorts - no shirts though… no chance of being a FKW with this club!
  2. Can this person please be removed from post before he does any more damage.
  3. No I don’t accept it as no other club is having any kit stock issues. Just the standard Rovers tin pot commercial operation, I’m afraid.
  4. You finally got there in the end! Let’s hope it doesn’t take as long next time…
  5. Is there anything the commercial side of this club can do right without random fans having to go down to their office and explain basic commerce to them? Oh and you still haven’t explained why all our neighbours have all their shirts in stock and we have bugger all? They having theirs made in a Lancashire sweat shop instead of China? Windy’s anecdote will have been repeated over and over again in store and online, because you know, people actually like to purchase things all year round, not just in a narrow window in August; for presents, for birthdays, for Christmas, on impulse and it is a job of a retail store to provide the products the customer wants - just like every other club can. ‘Demand has been met’, indeed. You don’t half talk some uninformed rubbish.
  6. Said ‘moaner’ has done so for many years, as we’ve had season after season of months on end with no shirts in stock, (and repeatedly quoting some random poster who pops in to big up the club once in a blue moon doesn’t alter that fact) nowt ever changes down there, unfortunately. How could you possibly know that ‘demand has been met’? Do you have the figures for how many folk have had a look at the empty shelves week after week, game after game and walked straight back out buying nothing? Or who have gone online for a present and seen no shirts? If all demand is met by October why does every other club have shirts on sale at Christmas apart from this one? Do Rovers fans have a buying pattern unique to every other club in England? Amazing how you actually back the incompetents running this club as they run it down, some fan you are…
  7. Has his all round game improved? He’s a quality keeper when it comes to shot stopping and bloody hell he’s a big improvement on some of the clowns we’ve had back there since 2012. But not sure his distribution or command of his box is any better than when he arrived.
  8. A quick look at PNE, Burnley, Blackpool, Wigan and Bolton’s online shop. All have all shirts in stock at various sizes. Sure they’ll be selling plenty for Christmas. In contrast, what a strange phenomenon we have at Ewood each season when all stock is gone by Autumn (though some will arrive at the back end of the season at knock down prices after months with none on the shelves, as per Ben’s point) no matter if the shirt is good or shite. Anybody would think we are a disorganised mess of a club…
  9. Great story Chaddy, but even when we’ve had crap kits there were never any for Christmas either. Nowt to do with Covid, China or anything else as this has been going on for years. Does Tesco ‘congratulate its customers’ for buying all the milk and bread when there’s nowt on the shelves? What bloody nonsense 🙄 It is piss poor retail management to sell out of your key stock pre the Christmas period year after year.
  10. But it’s all relative, isn’t it. You can’t compare England to Norway. Not a fair match up. But you can compare to similar sized and more similar resourced nations like France, Germany, Italy and Spain, how does that compare?
  11. Have England not been ‘mediocre’ for the majority of our history considering our resources, population and league strength?
  12. Why what hasn’t impressed you with theirs? Conceded one goal in 400+ minutes and they’ve been superbly well drilled every game. It’s taken a massively unheralded side to the quarter finals, the only one outside Europe and the big South American two.
  13. One more time as you seem to be even more hard of understanding than normal… What’s that got to do with no kits being on sale at various times of the year (including Christmas) every other season?
  14. What’s that got to do with no kits being on sale at various times of the year (including Christmas) every other season?
  15. What’s current supply chain issues in China got to do with no kits being on sale at various times of the year (including Christmas) every other season?
  16. End of the day you can slice and dice previous tournament opposition all night long. But to win this time we will in all likelihood need to beat three elite teams on the bounce. That hasn’t been the case in the last two tournaments and if they do do it, then it will be an achievement to match ‘66 and all that.
  17. In a few weeks time CR7 will most likely have played his last ever international and European club game as he takes that final payday in Saudi. His behaviour over the past month or so will have brought about a very ignominious end to a top class career…
  18. Home and third kit out of stock online in the run up to Christmas *again*. Sure I was told that this doesn’t happen every single year and the club actually has ‘optimal stock management’.
  19. It’s bizarre, as part of this broadcasting deal, they pick a load of random fixtures every 3rd round for overseas TV. Another choice… Grimsby v Burton. They’ll be queuing up down the street to get a prime spot in the bars of Singapore for that one.
  20. Disgracefully unpatriotic of you. What about England’s supporters?
  21. Every chance they’ll be in the sixth tier next season with 5k-ish crowds and 1,000+ away followings most weeks. It would literally be one man and his dog in most other nations. The strength of fandom down the pyramid in this country is unrivalled…
  22. You’ve got to remember that unlike most on here that only really gives England a second look around tournaments, i.e not massively invested so they just comment on what they see, roverandout absolutely lives for them, which is fair enough, but he does seem to take any ‘negativity’ personally. Which is ironic because he’s slagged off all things Rovers relentlessly for about 10 years!
