  1. There and thereabouts for a weekend game, c9.5/10k midweek, like we saw pre the charge up the table last season.
  2. It’s certainly an interesting phenomenon. We now consistently sell our fewest STs for over 30 years, but we do it rapidly.
  3. Maybe he means the quickest sales he’s ever seen in April and May… only problem is before this summer we hadn’t normally bothered putting them on sale till June.
  4. There would be an amusing reverse ferret from a few on here if he signed at the last minute 😁
  5. He’s only played a couple of Championship games in the August before we bought him.
  6. He scored a bag full, exactly what a striker is brought into to do as a big money signing for a club seemingly wanting/needing promotion. Not down to him that we never did so and the rest of the club was a shambles.
  7. We did exactly that with Jordan Rhodes, no?
  8. Why would posters on an internet message board know the budget of a private business? Though it is strange how much time you spend on said message board with such ‘clueless’ folk…
  9. Never a problem for Swansea tickets as it’s such a bloody faf to get to from up here it’s always one of our lowest followings.
  10. Well considering TM was here to the bitter end, 2025 it is. 🤦‍♂️ Though I wasn’t aware that the non playing side club employees were usually on set multi year contracts like players and managers?
  11. It’s my opinion! I personally like the classic Rovers away shirt colours. It gives the club an identity, just like the home shirt always has. Liking one thing more than another is what we humans do. Be it a type of food, a type of beer, a type of music, whatever. So please refrain from all this ‘negative’ stuff please.
  12. For me red and black halves, yellow with blue trim are some of the quintessential Rovers away shirts, simple as that. So as result I thought last season’s shirts were great, and therefore I don’t think this season’s will measure up. It’s called having an opinion and there is nothing remotely ‘negative’ about that view, so please bore off with that tripe.
  13. ‘Quantum’, ‘average yield’. Can you imagine JW talking to the local paper like that, still the main organ of communication with much of the fanbase? What a bloody plonker.
  14. Last summer saw us sell 6,995 STs at £399 to £500, and they kept prices the same for this summer (and increased by £30 for non existing ST holders), we will probably sell c8.5k this time, so an undoubted success in Waggott World, so from his perspective, not ours, why would he reduce?
  15. Of course folk on here would’ve kicked off, so what? Didn’t realise brfcs posters managed the club’s budgets.
  16. Even in the Riverside it works out at £17/£18 a game, so no chance the club are going to offer £20 match tickets each week, especially when a good number of games will have a load of away fans to fleece.
  17. Two cracking change shirts last season, classic Rovers away kits. No chance they will match up this time.
  18. They might as well not bother calling one of them a ‘third kit’, as we wore the nominal ‘third’, the yellow, more than the red and black last season.
  19. I’m sure we did something similar a few years back, away at Morecambe or Fleetwood, from memory
  20. Whatever floats your boat, I’m just explaining how the club would justify not pricing tickets at £20 each week.
  21. Not in the JWU, so it would literally be cheaper to buy tickets each week.
  22. Oh yeah can see how, the Sheff Utd offer, Bournemouth offer, the bundles, night games all reduced to £20. A £400 to £500+ , a ST quickly becomes not particularly good value over match tickets, which never used to the case.
  23. From memory they get 5k due to the amount of coaches they can fit on the DEnd car park.
  24. They won’t charge that because it will undercut ST prices. It would actually be cheaper to buy a ticket each week in the JWU than a ST. That’s the problem you create when you price STs so high to start with, very little wiggle room for match day prices.
  25. Usual story when they leave. ’Crap anyway’, ‘greedy’, ‘move on’, ‘better out there’. All maybe true to some extent, but unless the ‘better out there’ end up here, we regress.
