  1. Looking forward to another PL darts night. Hopefully Luke Littler will win.
  2. We sent £15m on 3 strikers in a 12 month period. When we signed Gallagher is the summer we need defenders but Mowbray was a big Gallagher fan and wanted him back here. A good DoF(which we didn't have one) or a board of directors would have asked why and blocked that move, instead Mowbray got what he wanted. This is why I prefer the head coach/DoF structure where the head coach only gets involves in the final stage when picking the final target and not before present a shortlist of targets from our recruitment department and DoF.
  3. that was Gestede said during his interview with Elliott Jackson
  4. The Footballing authorities or Government authorities aren't going to do anything as far as they are concern they are running the club right, proper and fit. They aren't saddling the club with debt. The EFL won't do anything. I think that Glen and Herbie points here We would all more engaged with the supporters, probably appoint different people to key roles and have a different ST plan, commercial plan and be open and better communication with the supporters base if we were owner of BRFC.
  5. Blackburn Rovers, QPR interested in Polish striker Oskar Zawada Blackburn plotting hijack to sign Premier League gem in hectic 3-club race Adam Berry - Player profile 24/25 | Transfermarkt
  6. Have I said otherwise? Why would I changed my mind based on the second half and forget the 1st half. Bizarre question to be frank given I didn't mention Ismael in my post see above for your question on Clarity. But the question is utter bizarre from both of you 2. I enjoyed the second half performance and we actually scored 2 goals and better performance then previous games under games but that doesn't over shadowed the first half lack of performance. I hope Ismael proves me wrong and we start winning games
  7. Its all about who we target and I haven't thought who I would target or we should target. I think we will look at the French, German and Belgium markets for a few signings.
  8. first and second questions , I don't know. Third question, Yes
  9. Well well. A good point after that second half performance. That first half performance apart from Dolan and Ohashi shots were dire, lacking passion and not good enough on any scale. Pears should be tipping that header over the bar instead of palming into another Wednesday player path, Second half, must better, tempo up several gears and Dolan's goal get the fans going. He shown passion all game and I enjoyed the second goal getting the ball wide and Ohashi in there at the right time, right place. So why didn't we start like that and we have started playing at 2 nil down. If that's the style we want to play then the tempo needs to be that high. Best half we played under Ismael Ohashi and Dolan our best players Thought Montgomery had a solid debut. Dd the basics right. steady. Is that his natural position or not? Rovers need to win on Saturday
  10. i just used that info posted by that member
  11. Pasha has said on the record what we spend this season. That's was my overall point its 9 players cos Ribeiro has re-sign now. No idea. I expect us to bring in 3 or 4 players from French, German and Belgium leagues. a couple from the championship and couple of loans from PL club I still want Blackburn Rovers to win games despite my views on Ismael. I hope he proves me wrong and still winning games
  12. wasn't me posted the rumour so suggested you look elsewhere.
  13. yes I would replace hum but at the minute Rovers aren't sacking and I don't think they were. Ismael will be here next season so lets hope he proves us all wrong and get his 1st win tonight
  14. He hasn't wanted to change too much from the Eustace's style at the start. The problem is the team was set up to win 1 nil. Very rare did we ever come back to win to draw or win after going behind. That is not a criticise of previous head coaches but that is fact of what the situation was We need to created more chances and hopefully we can do that.
  15. Fair enough. I heard Andy Bayes asking him a question about and his answer. Agreed 100%
  16. I was talking about football in general not about Rovers management. You have asked me questions previously and I answered every one
  17. Ismael says he didn't ignore the away support at Portsmouth, I wasn't at that game so can't comment but he did walk down the tunnel and didn't come to the BBE post game on Friday night. https://x.com/allrovers_/status/1908268325236597038 If I was head coach I would every time go and thanks the supporters whether we won, draw or lost. I would accept any criticism that came my way
  18. You seem to have such a problem with the head coach role and what it should be. You wanted them to be old school manager where he control everything football side of the club has done. well that depends whether the head coach has been employed to play that style of play the club want they to or whether he has autocracy to decide a style of play he wants to play Its the football club who has decide to play this way based on what the football board, management and sporting Director wants. They will employ a head coach who has experience in playing that way or bring through youth into the first team. What ever they want to do.
  19. no but don't expect people not to say something back. How would you like me to come to your workplace and have a go at you? are you going to just take it or say something back? Someone the other week had a go at Travis and he said something back.
  20. So, what your point then? if Rovers under Gestede and the Rovers board wanted to play this style and have picked their head coach choice to be appointed Have I? no I have commented on what been said and what they said. I have previously said what formation and style I would play. Have I said it made sense here but I was commented a wider point within the football community that is how football work now. That was my point You said the same last summer and we spent from what Pasha said around 4.5m mark this season on transfers and increase the wage bill for the January signings. I expect something similar this summer, where I think we spend some money on player transfer fees(around 3-5 million), a couple of loans and couple of frees.
  21. Looks like Southampton have sacked Juric now. An appointment that never made sense. Surely they go for Rohl now, Wouldn't surprise me if they go for him now
  22. Fair enough, I respect that and whatever decision you made. I was talking about our players and performances/results in the early PL days like Shearer, Sherwood, Mimms, Wilcox, Atkins Ripley. Those memories can't been taken away from me and I started following Rovers around the 1992 and it was cos of my dad influence being a Rovers supporter and going to games. In 1993/94 my dad took me to my first game and I was hooked from that minute to now. I still enjoyed going and I am proud Rovers supporters and still am to this day. Never had the pleasure of watching Simon Garner play sadly. Shearer is my Favourite ever Rovers player.
