Our 5 best players last year imo were Baath, Dolan, Tronstad, Travis and Brittain.(in no particular order). We've already lost 3 of them! PS--would have included Beck in a top 6 but obviously he was always a one season job.

Hm--he wasn't great success but that doesn't mean Exiled's point isn't valid. You may have missed it but Sheff U went up! EDIT---shit! I forgot! And I watched the game!! Thanks to Venkys who relegated us all on their own. Most championship clubs require funding from wealthy owners but our wealthy owners think we can fund ourselves, while giving our best players away!

Every year we get weaker Chaddy. We never build by keeping the best and replacing the weakest. We do the opposite in fact. Its a miracle we got so close to the Playoffs but if we'd done what I'm suggesting we'd have walked it. There is no plan, its a season to season operation depending on what money is available. Now money is very scarce and we are gambling. We can't go on like this much longer.

You are always free to leave. Not negativity but painful realism. Sinking lower every year, why should you expect optimism?

Then whole point of a Transfer Window is to strengthen your squad. When did we last do that?

Ww will all judge him on the pitch when he plays. But it'll be a bit late then if he's rubbish or very ordinary. I'd prefer to keep both Kronstadt and Travis thanks. I've seen them on the pitch and I 'm very happy with them. They are clearly good quality Championship players with nothing to prove. Hard to think we could afford anyone better or even as good. But you seem to prefer risk-taking and to trust the people who make these decisions. I don't.

You think season ticket sales are so low because people on here urge others not to buy one? I rather think the performance of the Club (in the widest sense) accounts for low sales, whatever is said on here.
