  1. Yes,good point Den. Venkys, knowing nothing, are likely to assume that a new manager will fix things it won't. We need a whole new structure at the club, missing since these clowns turned up at Ewood.
  2. I won't believe it till it happens either. The Raos trust him, it takes a very long time to get them to move. Season ticket sales might wake them up.
  3. Let's hope that you're right.
  4. The first win would come after Mowbray was sacked.
  5. Ceremonial burning for that object! He has lost the plot, lost the fans, lost the players and lost the local press. Time for Venkys to get on-board. And if the new manager talks about a "journey" I will explode..
  6. Johnno to take over pro tem?
  7. They're a "do-nothing" type of owner aren't they?
  8. We seem to draw up lists for every summer but other clubs get there first. There's a long list of them.
  9. You'll be chucked out for being a cad and committing a faux pas K-Hod! Just make sure you use the correct knife and fork.
  10. and/or "I'm going to stay put and carry on stuffing it up".
  11. I think you're taking fairness to new heights there! Elliott can play there but I bet that's not where he ends up at Liverpool. Anyway, he's no-one to cross to if he does. As for why Gallagher and Brereton were signed, why aren't they played there then? They're awful but they're even more awful and pointless out wide. Lucky they have any confidence left at all. Individually and collectively the squad has been going backwards for months. At least no-one has the gall to talk about "incremental progress" anymore. We are in deep shit wherever you look.
  12. Agree entirely but we have no wingers and no big men in the middle to cash in. Its like going into battle with a bow but no arrows.
  13. His stated aim was TOP 6. By any measure he is a failure.
  14. Very little support on LT comments for Mowbray today and 70+ responses when I last looked. I think even the dumbest have finally seen the light. His latest guff has me furious. Lamenting that we keep losing 1-0 and implying we were so close or it’s bad luck. We lose because we can’t score. And we can’t score because you Mowbray threw away 12 million quid on 2 strikers who are rubbish. You don’t take responsibility for this and you don’t take responsibility for anything else. And when you leave, the club will find it difficult to function. We’ll be losing young talent for nothing, there’ll be no money for transfers, you intend to wreck the Academy with your mates and we could be back in Div 1 again. Oh, and crowds will be tiny. That will be your legacy Tony and you should be ashamed. I haven’t the words to express my anger and contempt. Go. I am absolutely furious at what is happening to my club,
  15. Balaji's son we hope!
  16. More bloody loans! 14th/15th anybody? Joke. Implies Mowbray staying as well. No hope.
  17. We can't determine that while Mowbray is the manager.
  18. Time will tell Sparks but at the moment the lad looks much better than your view of him suggests. My only worry is that poor management will do for him.
  19. Excellent work Rev. Impossible that it could have been any better.
  20. At the end of the season we will be exactly where we were before the season started at centre-back--with only Lenihan a certain starter. After 5 frigging years! However I'd prefer to play our young ones, ridiculous to be trusting the centre of our defence to teenagers from other clubs. Mowbray was supposed to be building a side not continually applying sticky plaster.
  21. I knew an old lady who sent off for ticket, got one and kept it for a souvenir!!
