  1. We could have said that several times over the last few years but, somehow, the job is never completed. This time round our best chance lies with our outstanding youth players. If more of them are unleashed as TM's regulars prove not up to it then we might do something!
  2. Conservative is Mowbray. Graham will play till he drops.
  3. Graham---first man picked when fit, as he will be.
  4. A wide forward would you think? On his own up front? Alongside Graham in a 2? I think TM will prefer Gallagher but we'll see! Only room for one wide forward (how I hate that term) because I expect Armstrong to start.
  5. Interesting isn't it? Virtually every one wants Rothwell to start but almost everyone expects that he won't!
  6. Be careful what you wish for!
  7. I am really hoping we don't have a Brereton style deal left! I'm all for a big money signing though!
  8. Its based on people voting isn't it? Not Sky's view as such. Interesting to see how others see us though? I prefer it that way personally, don't want to see us tipped for success.
  9. He might look great against Blackpool or Barrow, doesn't mean he will against Championship clubs. Looked out of his depth last season. Clear enough? No more I can say.
  10. Sigh--- for the third time (at least)---who were we playing against?
  11. Do you bother reading posts?Have a look at pic32's post on the previous page----which I "liked"
  12. Yes but you said he'll be picked because he's fit! I wouldn't pick him if he was fit or not!
  13. If Mulgrew plays tomorrow its because TM has picked him. Simple as that.
  14. Can you really see Brereton being the one up-front? A day out for the defence (opposition that is!).
  15. I've already said my piece on that.
  16. "Moderator in view expression shock"!!
  17. All I ever hear associated with Brereton is "potential." And time may prove he has it. But, based on actual performances, and particularly in front of goal. Nuttall has been the better player, despite any limitations he has. For a start, he can head it and he puts himself about. Defenders know they are in for a battle against him. He competes. Brereton would do well to build up the aggressive part of his game. Its not tippy-toe in the Championship. Nuttall's gone and good luck to him, Brereton needs to step up.
  18. Nuttall has shown more than Brereton when he's had the chance----and that's what irks me.
  19. Well that's a great shame and I hope you reconsider.
  20. He can't make his mind up about what is his best line-up. Wanting masses of "options" with "versatile players" is a reflection of that lack of decisiveness.
