National league and North and South

Chorley have brought out a pre season shirt which is something I've never heard of. It's quite innovative really and for a non league club to think of it is a feather in their caps. -
Class from the Wales players and staff who went to the area where the Ukraine supporters were and applauded them for a couple of minutes.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61681762 Real Madrid also have pertinent questions of EUFA around the organisation and policing in the CL final. And they confirm their fans were 'victims of said events' too dispelling the story that there was no trouble at the Madrid end of the ground.

He's isolating in one of the dungeons.😂😂 They seriously expected to believe guff like that though.

I don't know for sure but people closer to the organisation than me (who don't post on here) tell me he is second in the chain of command after the owners. I think Mowbray inadvertently confirmed this when he said he hadn't spoken direct to the owners for a considerable time but he had spoken to Pasha regularly. I'm also told that he is paid directly by Venkys. And we haven't even heard his voice.

I really enjoyed watching Ukraine tonight as they played some terrific stuff with Zinchenko absolutely outstanding. Some understandably emotional scenes as they celebrated at the end.

I was still an active referee when he was at Reading and came across him several times and he struck me as arrogant and entitled. When I was assessing I worked on some games with Mick McGuire who at the time was Deputy CEO of the PFA and had had many dealings with Pardew. His name came up in a conversation one day and Mick said "if he was made of chocolate he would eat himself". I always think of that quote whenever I hear mention of his name.

Looking at that picture could it be Tony Diamond? -
And there is the rub. We have had twelve years of incompetence, downsizing, failure and disappointment with this lot. Why would anybody believe that all of a sudden things are better? Nothing has changed - we are light years away from where we were when they took over and they haven't learnt anything in that time. Why would any self respecting manager want to work here after being interviewed by the likes of Waggott and Pasha? Reality took over with me ages ago and my faith in them is zero.

A pure guess would be Andy Kennedy. -
He is actually a Sunderland supporter although he does live in Leeds. I really don't understand the lack of involvement by VAR for both penalty shouts. The very reason it was brought in was to make right major errors by the on field referee and they don't come any bigger than a Championship playoff final. Whilst Moss is getting the flak and abuse Tierney, the VAR is the most culpable here. In real time I can understand Moss not giving them but the major failing here is VAR and the PGMOL will undoubtedly hide behind the 'clear and obvious error' which is ambiguous to say the least. How much more of an error can it be when Moss actually cautions the Huddersfield player for simulation when it should be a penalty? I've said before, with the benefit of being involved for high on two decades that the refereeing world at times is almost Masonic and it's getting worse. Yesterday Corberan and Cooper had to face the press and would have been asked about the game including errors by their players. Mike Riley or one of the senior management team should have done so yesterday.

I was there too. They are building new changing rooms which should be ready for next season.

Both Steve Cooper and Carlos Corberan are very good tacticians which has contributed greatly to their teams success this season. Our former manager wasn't a very good tactician and contributed to our lack of success. In a nutshell for me.

Corberan will have to go to his plan B now (if he has one) as his plan A of a bank of five and four is just set up to defend and play on the break. In fairness they have done a number on Forests danger men but now they have to change.
