  1. Assuming Ayala, S.Wharton, Gallagher and Brittain are still missing.
  2. What is good is we now have some competition for places. Centre back, we have decent options (when all fit) with Ayala, Hyam, Wharton, Phillips and Carter all battling out for a place. 5 good options there as well. Chuck in Mola as well but i don't know where his preferred position is, or where JDT see's him fitting in. Buckley was probably almost guaranteed a start but now he's got Wharton showing him up and Morton playing well. Trav is captain so will play more often than not. Plenty of attacking options battling it out as well now and with Dack getting back up to speed and BBD retained we should have players pushing for those places too,
  3. Could be wrong but i thought i read somewhere that Ayala only missed one game due to injury in the second half of the season. He didn't play because Mowbray didn't pick him ahead of Lenihan, Wharton and JPVH.
  4. Sounds good. The manager not only recognised their strength and nullified it but recognised our weakness and reinforced it.
  5. You always want more (ain't that right Forest?!) But I think overall, it's been a positive window. We've plugged gaps that needed plugging, not just with dross either. Brittain is as good as, if not better than Nyambe and Hyam seems solid to fill the void Lenihan left. Szmodics is no Rothwell but I think Rothwell was incredibly difficult to replace, not many players like him around and certainly not for the fees we'd be looking at. 2 loans with options in the clubs favour is smart business and we've held onto one of our best players in BBD. We were never getting everything we need this summer, it just wasn't happening. What needs to happen now is a continuous cycle of improvement. Broughton and his team need to be upgrading our weakest players. JRC, Edun, Dolan etc. They'll be used this season as squad players but ultimately if we have ambitions in the future of being a premier League team, we need better players. That process can start now and players can be scouted and identified for recruitment in future transfer windows. Feels like there was more of a plan this time around, not like the scattergun approach it felt like at times under Mowbray.
  6. Deadline day is so stupid. Everton could have bid £20m 3 weeks ago and got their man, no worries. Waits 4 hours till the window closes and would probably have to offer more, which will still likey be rejected as we can't sign a replacement. Mental.
  7. They might only be offering buttons though? Saying that, weren't they offering £20m for the Watford player?
  8. I think we're done, barring any deadwood being shipped out. Dembele would be the cherry on the cake.
  9. Everton have given up signing Pedro from Watford, according to Sky Sports. Might they turn their attentions to BBD again?
  10. Loaning him straight out? What a waste.
  11. Yeah, now we've signed Mola, Edun can go along with JRC and Butterworth i reckon.
  12. Fair play to the B'pool fan
  13. Sick to the back teeth of it was he....? 🤗
  14. Yeah could deffo see Vale shipped out on loan. Dolan maybe too, although he's seems more in favour than Markanday.
  15. Just flicked SSN on whilst eating my lunch. Breaking news bar claims "Fulham are still in talks with Blackburn Rovers about BBD"
  16. Sounds nasty, you best go and see your doctor
  17. Fulham see Nice have a £10m bid rejected. "Let's bid £6m" 🤡
  18. HAHAHAHAHAHA, I actually laughed out loud. Good job i'm working from home.
  19. Yeah a bit of a bruiser/tank in the middle would be decent.
  20. Definitely needed. Really needs a full season, playing a lot more games in his more natural position (whatever that is). I can't see him being a Rovers player again tbh. 2 years left on his contract, loan this season and either another loan or sold to a League One club next.
