21,658 at Bolton yesterday. That Cozier-Duberry scored 2 and made the other 2 in a 4-0 win. Did we loan him a season too soon ? -

Sky commentator yesterday: "The hierarchy wanted to reduce the age of the squad to create saleable assets" There was then a short silence - he was probably just contemplating that statement and thinking: "is that a sensible approach for a football club with any ambition whatsoever ?" -

Only one agents fee though , that may have a bearing on things . -

Good grief! He left a club where the owners showed no signs of supporting him in any way, to go to a club that clearly wanted him. He wanted the club to give new contracts to exactly the players you say he 'bought' (only one of which he actually paid money for). The others were free agents who could go where they liked and chose him. Your comment is a rewriting of history that Donald Trump would be proud of! -

Imagine if we signed Carlton Morris instead of Tavares, Gueye, AND Kargbo. I'd be tempted to throw in some others as well. But he does not fit the club's profile. He is a 29-year-old dinosaur, while we prefer young, cheap, crap, low-wages, no-career players. Aligned sustainable stupidity. -

Another blinkered jilted-ex. He only "bought " one player which we didn't need to sell. The rest were all free agents because we didn't extend their contracts last December when HE wanted the club to sort them on longer deals. -

The signings they make are cheap crap so there's no point in getting excited. -
I would imagine they have got some sort of behind closed doors game arranged as well, similar to the last break when they played the Dingkes

Just stop it. Rudy does not offer contracts to players with proper careers, over 25, and who ask for a normal wage (relative to a medium championship standard). -

If he hadn't bought half our team, we wouldn't be in a relegation battle. Answer that one. -

I suppose it depends on your alternatives. Compared to an Australian rugby player, a mediocre Hull reject, or a loyal Welsh left winger, I would argue that Batth is a significant upgrade. - Today

Pleased for Harry Leonard that he has started scoring for Peterborough. Absolute madness from Rovers to sell him permanently instead of just a loan deal. -

Given the fact we have no game for 2 weeks Gueye could also do with a run out. -
There is an under 21 match tomorrow against Derby at Leyland. This is a perfect opportunity to give Carter some playing time. I'm not holding my breath though given the reluctance we have shown in this respect.

Let me guess, the CB will be O'Riordan, Gueye will be sold to make room for the striker and if Tronstad is leaving that isn't really bolstering the squad either. This squad is massively lacking in both numbers and quality, and the recruitment in in the hands of the people who absolutely blew the summer transfer window. Despite a couple of wins against out of form teams I think we're going into December with the dregs of an already poor squad and to survive we need significant investment in January. There are good arguments to say you could reasonably need 3 signings at CB alone if Wharton and Carter are going to continue to spend their careers with the medics. -

MGP's dead ball deliveries yesterday were still infinitely better than anything we have seen at Ewood for years.
