  1. Past hour
  2. I'm in 2 minds with the current situation. Either: Gestede, Pasha, Owen & Ismael are all so arrogant/confident/stupid that this situation will be turned around once some players get back, so they genuinely don't think we'll go down. or They just don't care and see relegation as another chance to reduce costs, clear the decks, flood the first team with academy players and essentially become a feeder club to the championship by flogging off our academy players once they've got enough first team experience. Whoever signed that off, needs sacking. Unless he was earning £100 at his previous club.
  3. Sodding zero hours contract shit. It will, eventually, become outlawed, if the Labour manifesto is followed through. Having said that, perhaps it won't, as AI will have us all on the dole before too long...
  4. Be worth it for the entertainment value
  5. Probably. Can you imagine him even taking a phone call from Rudy serious though?
  6. I rate Powell. He's better than De Neve by a mile, he looks classy
  7. For a Saturday 3pm, there’s usually 2/3k walk ons. Presumably then the projections for this weekend is that’s it’s going to be substantially lower than that? Ergo that text? ‘Tickets sales’ being the relevant bit, as yes, they’ve no idea on how many paid up ST Holders will actually be attending, though even without a boycott plenty haven’t been for a couple of months now. So put low match ticket sales , plus they’ll know the ‘real’ numbers of ST holders that haven’t been coming for a while, plus a boycott, plus Watford won’t be fetching many, and well, let’s see.
  8. Anybody saying that is an idiot. It's one match being boycotted to make a point about where things are on their way to. It's not going to cost anyone their job. Also, nobody is obliged to give patronage to anywhere. You're not 'costing' anybody anything, as the money wasn't theirs in the first place, it was yours. (Not you specifically)
  9. After last night's matches I'd much rather get on the train to Norwich if I were him.
  10. Hickman did score two goals that day but he’d signed a few weeks earlier . He’d had 1 game as sub and then the game before the Plymouth game when he made his full debut against Bury away in a 2-1 win for Rovers. He scored his first goal in that game. I remember seeing Andy Burgin at Halifax before he signed for Rovers. He’d played against my second team , Rochdale, quite often and being a full back myself he always impressed me. The ‘Dale had a really good right winger at the time. When he felt like it he was devastating, but Andy always kept him relatively quiet. I knew we’d signed a good ‘un when he came to Rovers.
  11. Get Roy Keane in. He'll get em going
  12. To be fair, the Hull player should have been sent off too, for a) starting the incident by wrestling Osmajic to the ground, then getting right in his face (literally) when he challenged him. Ref got that only half right. Mind you, sometimes it is good to have something of a psycho on your team, as it gives off an air of unpredictability and an edge, in the way that none of our current squad do. I think Yuki says thank you every time he gets clobbered - Japanese manners and all that..(Samurai he isn't, as Samurai never wore contact lenses, as far as I know).
  13. If Ismael leaves the club this season, it will most certainly be after the window shuts, and after the 3 home games, followed by at least a month of faffing around and interviewing candidates before settling on the cheapest possible chancer going. Realistically I don't think he'll leave because he'll manage to scrape a win in the Sheffield Wednesday replay, keeping himself comfy in the job till the end of the season.
  14. Is that right though? Not wanting to diss the boycott but at this stage it can only really affect walk on sales which presumably won't be very high to begin with. How can the Club have any idea whatsoever whether it will be really well observed, completely ignored, or somewhere inbetween?
  15. @Mercer posted about the potential offer on the table for the club. Can anyone else corroborate this story?
  16. Today
  17. Rovers 1 - 2 Watford. Jorgensen again for Rovers. Based on Ismael's comments, Alebiosu wont be starting, so I'm expecting TGH to continue out there. Grim. I would revert to a back 4 for this with either Pickering or Ribeiro coming in, with Powell on the left flank, Jorgensen on the right and Baradji in the CAM position to support Ohashi. Tronstad and Forshaw as a pairing in the middle.
  18. If we need a left wing back we should be going for someone like Harry amass. Seems likes he’s joining Norwich on loan. Would work out for him here as it’s closer to Manchester.
  19. De Neve would not illuminate the West Lancs League if it still exists !
  20. I’m sorry but Jorgensen who passed straight to their player for the opener, or who missed a sitter to potentially get us back in the game was motm? Behave literally the only player that comes out of that with any credit was Powell. Rest were all 2s and 3s out of 10, Powell was about a 5/6
  21. File making a Sky Sports News reporter a Director of the club because they did a soft focus piece on their Aston Martin collection with all the other so bat shit crazy it must be true stories emanating from this regime.
  22. It’s fascinating that some people give Ismael any kind of slack on the basis that we have injured players. As many have pointed out, the injury situation is linked to a number of factors, many of which could largely have been addressed. But let’s look at yesterday’s starting XI. Toth – Don’t come here and tell me Pears’ injury absence means anything. TGH – Ismael signing O’Riordan – Brought back instead of buying someone. McLoughlin – Ismael signing Atcheson – Started ahead of Cashin, an Ismael signing Powell – Starts ahead of Henriksson, an Ismael signing Tronstad – Starts every match Baradji – Ismael’s star signing, a formidable footballer who “has everything”, according to Val Doherty – Starts ahead of De Neve, Ismael signing Ohashi – Always starts under Ismael Jørgensen – Ismael signing, his number one striker target since the summer Dante placed arrogant people between the 3rd and 9th circles of his Inferno, and I think Ismael and Gestede should at the very least be sent there. The way they have destroyed a football team could be said to be without parallel in Rovers’ history, but as we all know, it has been done before during the last 15 years of mismanagement. Kudos to the BBC reporter yesterday who tried to get Ismael to answer some difficult questions. The way Ismael (did not) respond belongs nowhere. He is, like the rest of the snakes, completely contemptible. BOYCOTT!
  23. Strange when all of the true fans in the LT comments pledged to bring every member of their family as well as their entire friendship circle. Plans must have changed.
  24. I don’t for one second want him playing for us but to be honest de neve might- MIGHT- flourish in league 1 just for his pace alone. If we go on the basis that the Brighton lad we had last year has tore it up this season. He was all pace too
  25. Never usually happens. Only prestige staff get put on shift when sales are really low. It’s of course the boycott that’s making the sales really low and that’s why I put it on here to pretty much show not many people are turning up.
